I'm thinking of adding this globe to our site -- just testing it out. (Undecided on just where to put it.)

Just wanted to know if you can see your location on this globe. Please reply back -- this will help me out a lot. Thanks!

Hope this wasn't posted here already?

Animate the CEO from Animaniacs. This sprite was captured from the Sega Genesis Animaniacs game.

The CEO just heard that he is gonna make a lot of money -- animate his expression and body movement in some sort of victory dance or celebration.

Good luck and have fun!

Due to no entries on the last animation competition, I decided to start another challenge with a different sprite. Please make the skeleton dance, walk, fly, fall apart, morph, or whatever you feel like. Do whatever you like. Reference from Castlevania:Bloodline.

Hey everyone, I'm having problems viewing AGS-hosted images for some reason. Does anyone else have this problem?

Blogs have been around for quite a few years now, and i figured it was about time I jumped on the bandwagon. I probably have nothing more to say than the average Joe, concerning adventure games,  but it keeps me out of trouble, gives me something to do, and it's something I enjoy talking about.

If any of you are interested in reading it, be my guest: Cartoon Adventure Games [blog]

5 years in the making and now it's available for download -- yes, for FREE! (Oh, and it's pretty sweet too.)

Hey everyone, do you remember way back in the day when Klik & Play was the fastest way to make a game? Me too!

(And I still have it:Klik & Play on eBay)

It's a classic, but I must let go sometime.

The other day I was browsing through the PC games at the Game Stop and noticed this game called Jack Keane -- has anyone here ever played this?

Some reviews online claim it to be as good as Monkey Island. What are your thoughts?

Over at http://2dgamers.zapto.org , I am having a game design competition 3 times a year. This gives the designer 4 months to complete his/her entry. I feel this much time is necessary to make a good entry. If anyone here is interested in making a game and entering the competition, you are welcome to do so.

The rules are as follows:

Theme: True Love
Playing window size: [Full Screen or an option to do Full Screen] 640 x 480 (unlimited colors)
File size restriction: Less than 10MB
Levels or Rooms required: Must have at least 4
Teams: No teams! (Must be done by yourself... to keep things fair.)
Ripped Backgrounds: No
Ripped Sprites: No
Ripped Animation: No
Ripped Music: Yes (If you want to.)

Awarded to the Winner:
- Choice of how the next competition is setup on MAY 1st
- Added to the main page as a headline success story.
- And a surprise....  ;)

So get started everyone, you only have 4 months!!!

YES, you may use AGS or whatever type of language you like. The genre is up to you as well. (Platform, adventure, rpg, etc.)

Critics' Lounge / Need Critique on Website

Please let me know if there are any ideas, suggestions, gripes, and/or concerns with my new site.

It's a little slow going, but I'm trying to add little by little to make it a cool place to be. I also have been pushing AGS and Multimedia Fusion for people that don't know anything about them, (CJ hope you don't mind?)

Game design will be the main push on the site, thus the strict rules. Hopefully people will be able to use my site as a big kick-in-the-pants to post their finished games there and here. :)

The url is below in my signature. Hope to see you there!

This is a great interview with 3D Realms' Scott Miller. Those of you that are getting ready to start, are actually in it, or have already been through game development, can appreciate this... (Huh, I guess that would be everyone?) lol

Hey everyone,

I've been working on a site I've put off for some time now. I figured I'd show all of you before I published it to the world. Hey wait, you all are the world!  [ Actually I meant the search engines.  :) ]

Let me know what you think: http://2dgamers.zapto.org/index.html

This is a Flash animation I did back in 2001. It took roughly 1 full month to do. (I didn't work on it all the time... but only when I could find time.) A good friend of mine helped with the sound and my wife helped with the color. (color/printers and I don't get along!)

Size is 1.5mb for those of you that would like to have a heads up. Some violence and the word "hell" used... sorry! :)

Enjoy: http://home.earthlink.net/~rharpe75/C-56.swf
