Hello again!
My second ever thread is all about...
Believe it or not there exists a longer version in the readme file!
Anyway...
Here's some pics (which I had to crop slightly in order to stay under the 600pixel width limit)...
And here it is... the page to download the music player from...
(You'll need the Rocks&Minerals.zip and IMPORTANT Rocks&Minerals Download ReadMe)
You'll notice the file is largish, but this is due to the three videos that play inside the program... which originally were bigger and of better quality but had to alter for uploading purposes, but I hope some kind person will still take a look.
Also there are covers on the download page... which you can just view there (too big for me to link them into this thread)
Anyway thanks for atleast taking a look.
And if you do download...
Do you think that my goose is cooked?!!
My second ever thread is all about...
ROCKS AND MINERALS - KAREOKE DEMO DISK
Firstly, yes the spelling is incorrect on Karaoke and I've lazily not changed it on the player...
Secondly, yes its a 'demo' disk, but it is a completed program
(in other words it works as a player with graphics to the level I wanted, but, as I've put in the readme file,
if anybody wants to email a music video for any of the tracks I will add them in, only my uploader won't take a much larger file size)

PROGRAM EXPLANATION
################################################################################
This demo disk was conceived out of love...
An animated music video attempted to upload onto a CHANNEL 4 comedy site, but found woe along the way.
(Although it lives there happily these days, and has a second home on a popular video uploading site)
A Christmas Present for my friend Lee Beaumont struggled to find a way in the world also.
Yet when these two crossed paths sparks flew. Let's just say there was much late night activity.
Several months later 'ROCKS AND MINERALS, THE COMPLETE RECORDINGS - Kareoke Demo Disk' was born.
################################################################################
ROCKS AND MINERALS are a now defunct musical band. In their prime, 1991-93,
they reached heady heights of playing in the school assembly, and on to school concerts.
Eventually, in 1992, tracks were laid down at the Seagull Theatre Studio, Pakefield.
Since the band went their separate ways the EP has been distributed band-wide,
tracks have been aired on US radio, and an official website is online as created by band member Barry Donovan.
Here is Barry's take on the bands success...
"Brit-kids sing weird sh*t"
1991 was the year of preteen psychedelic band Rocks & Minerals. Singer Barry recalls, "We only played a few gigs
(I say gigs, I mean school concerts in front of hundreds of bewildered parents),
but in that time I like to think we amassed something of a reputation.
That's the trouble when you have songs such as 'Photocopy a Light Switch' in your repertoire."
