General Discussion / Zombie Novels
Tue 04/08/2009 15:55:01
I've just finished the following books:

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies By Jane Austen and Seth Grahame Smith
The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z by Max Brooks

All of them were amazing, and World War Z is now one of my all time favorites, if you haven't read go pick up a copy.

I was wondering if anybody here knew of any other books worth reading on the subject of Zombies.

BLUE!
You play Blue, your partner Red has been kidnapped by the evil Green, and you must embark on a sinister scavenger hunt to save her. The police won't help so it's up to you, lie, cheat, and steal until you have all the items on Green's list.

Adventure Related Talk & Chat / Useless Rooms
Tue 20/05/2008 17:29:07
I working on my first game, and I plan to have at least one room of every building in towns, how do you guy feel about a room in an adventure game, that not only do you not need to go to, but you there's inside that is of use to the quest, your feedback may be the difference between having a bunch of uceless rooms, or just clicking on the door and getting the message "They're closed, com back later." so what do you think, is it annoying, is it a cool idea?

I personally always loved exploring in adventure games, even if the room wasn't important I always wanted to go in.

I have checked the BFAQ, checked the built in help menu, done a search in both the knowledge base and the forums, and I have not found the answer.

Here's my Problem: I have an event in the global script, a dialog, and when this event is finished, I want to make an object visible in another room, how do I do this? I also need to know how to do it on a room to room basis, as aposed to Global script.

Thank you for your help
