So, here is a cheesy game concept, about a group of high school kids who find out their principal is a vampire.

I am trying to make a little bit better game than Laundry Day before I jump head first into The Lost Prince Saga, I don't want to get ahead of myself.

But I feel like while trying to make the slightly nerdy main character, I have made him look more like an Asian tourist than a nerdy high school kid.

So... uhm... yeah... any help is appreciated.

I am curious what the thoughts and feelings are of the people on this board, would you rather have higher quality music and a bigger download, or would you rather have Midi files and have a smaller download?

Just curious on what the general opinion is on mp3 music.

Completed Game Announcements / Laundry Day

Hey, this is a short little game I made with AGS.  Let me know what you think, if the response is good enough here I'll post it to the main site.  But I want to make sure it's up to par before I put it on the website... don't want things getting too cluttered.

Give me any comments and criticism you have.

I am trying to make good backgrounds for my simplistic little sprites

sprite shown here (Image is a 4-up)

I am trying to display that the lighter foreground is walkable area and the hills are impassable...

Any help would be appreciated... I feel I am much more successful with my sprites than my backgrounds.

What if Alone in the Dark was a Lucas Arts or Sierra game?

If you don't know who Edward Carnby is or what Alone in the Dark is... you are missing out on one of the best adventure games ever made.

Hey, Kevin Macleod of incompetech.com has tons of music to download that is under the creative commons license.

I use his music for my games, it's all MP3, I suggest giving it a look.

Critics' Lounge / Hansel and Gretel

I think someone has actually beaten me too this idea... but I was thinking of making an adventure game based on Hansel and Gretel.

If someone is already doing this I could work on another project... but here are my Hansel and Gretel sprites so I can get some tips on them.

I'm not really a noob...

I used to post here a lot, and was working on a couple of games that never got finished(I'll spare you the details.)

So I decided to not post on here again till I was almost finished with a game... so here I am with...

LAUNDRY DAY

Simple little short-ish game... about a guy who has to get his laundry done in time for his date.

Screenshot

Everything is done, the game is playable and beatable... I am just adding in all those little you can't do this or that statements... and correcting some walkable areas and wording/spelling as I am going.

Would love any kind of feedback...

it's good to be back.
