Why is there no voice sounds in Ben jordan 2?How can you enjoy a game without hearing the characters voices.

I completed Ben Jordan 1 with no problem , nice game what I like, has any one played Ben Jordan 2 and had any problems with the voices of the characters. The voices were heard real good in the first case. The characters voices weren't there,but all the other sounds were, music, background, such as phone ringing,shower, doorbell and etc.
