Hello. I am having lag issues, despite my decent PC (Athlon 64X2, Dual Core, 2 GB ram, Nvidia 8400 GS).
The first time I noticed this was with "Frank the Farmhand", it was very very laggy (music, movement and mouse movement). The PC was on all day (the strange thing is that this somehow influences the game's performance, my other software don't seem affected but with this game, if I play it just after turning on the PC only the music lags, while if I start the game during the evening, the whole game lags). Then I noticed this with "Cayanne Pepper" and "Cosmos Quest". I don't have problems when playing old games designed in 320x240 in 640x480 mode.

Oh and by the way, filters doesn't solve the problem.

Hi! Just finished playing Trilby's Notes. Great game but I didn't understood the story very well. Part of it was that at the end when you see images of the characters the text scroll too fast. Also, it's been a long time since I played 5DAS and I don't remember the story very well.

Could somebody please make a summary of the 5DAS story and the Trilby Notes one? It would really appreciate.

Also, should I play 7DAS or 6DAS first?

Hello, I just completed the underwater part in Duty And Beyond, and I only have 98 points. I looked at the walkthrough and I saw that I missed the card in the house's basement.

So I went to pick them up, and got one point more. But at this point of the game, I should have 100 points, not 99! I rad the walkthrough and I can't see something that I didn't doo, exept that I chose option 1 when talking to the girl at the beggining, but I don't think it gives more point to choose option 2...

So what did I miss?

I have a resolution problem. Video mode 320x240 or 320x200 doesn't work. The game tries to load, the screen blinks and then an error message appears:

There was a problem initializing graphics mode 320x200 (16-bit).
(Problem: 'Can not set video mode')
Try to correct the problem, or seek help from the AGS homepage.

Possible cause: your graphics card driver does not support this resolution. Run the game setup program and try the other resolution.


Now I know that I can setup 640x400 but that causes problems in some games like JAPNCA, where we give the laxatives to Alistar and the game crashes because the text is too long or something like this.

I searched the forums and I found that some people have the same problems, but nobody seemed to find a technical solution.

Is there a patch or something to remove this resolution bug to allow games to be played in 320x240?

I finished the 3 espisodes of 1213, I appreciated these games.

However, I think I didn't really understood the scenario. I would like that somebody resumes it.

Why did Westbury kill her?
Who is Petrovitch?
What was the "mission" that Westbury wanted 1213 to go on but that Petrovitch didn't let him?
What was this virus thing all about? Westbury wanted to create a cure for the Earth virus but most of the test persons got yellow death instead of immunity?
