A long time ago I played a ags game that resemble the King's Quest VI engine but was set more into the future (not space quest). However in this game you can control more than 1 character and each one has their own personal skill. These characters were detectives trying to solve a case but at the same time they were also monsters themselves. I'm really not sure if it was made by Sierra or another company at that time, I was just a kid then.
I don't remember much about the gameplay but it was your basic point and click game in which you can rotate characters anytime during the game, however if I picked the vampire character (or something) he could have turned into a gas form and slide under locked doors. The other characters also had other skills such has lockpicking and such. Later on in the game you could also use a car to travel to other places.
I have been trying to figure out the name of this game for years.....but no luck
