What the story regarding this?

Thank you for any advice or opinion....

Art takes up too much time for me....

Am currently working as a telesales person in the corporate world. Good enough money, alot of stress and takes up alot of time leaving no time for anything outside of it. I have the skills (art, design, programming, testing) and enough knowledge and experience to make it work. I feel like if I dont escape it now I will be caught in the 9-5 world forever.... A mindless corporate drone, always wishing that I had transferred when I had the chance. I am trying to make this decision before I take on anymore financial/family responsibilty. I know what it takes and believe me I have what it takes but I just have to hear someone else's side of it from their own experience to make sure that I am not living in fairyland.

Any opinions are greatly appreciated.... This is the dream, my interest and intention since day one, this is everything to me.  :-X

Thank you.

My speciality is environment art and props+2d art. I am focusing on the indie market as I am trying to make a business from freelancing.

So no free/volunteer/profit sharing projects please. Just to make this clear, not interested!!!!!!

Current Blog: virtualpsycho.blogspot.com/

Apologies but the blog is a year old, I took a break from game development completely in order to gain some perspective on life.

As I am only getting back into freelancing, the prices are relatively cheap even in comparison to indie development standards; so hurry!

Any relative updates will be posted here, for example changes in experience/price/availability/etc....

The development of Complete Game Projects are also catered for.

The prices take into account several variables it's size, time to complete, time constraints, etc.....

There are two possible payment methods; hourly wage/ at completion of project/product.

Any interested parties contact: brady_siemen_super@yahoo.ie
or virtualpsycho@gmail.com

Thank you.

Hello my name is Sean Brady. I am a student researching the reason behind the recent (1990's - present) unpopularity of point and click graphic adventure games.

I was wondering if it was possible to get your opinion on the whole matter. I am dealing with both the development/commercial reasoning and consumer/player interest. If it is possible to get your opinion on both sides that would be fantastic.

I appreciate the time given and thank you sincerely.

The question ultimately is "what factors account for the unpopularity of point and click graphical adventures?"

NOTE: The opinions expressed will be transcribed within the research dissertation with the names of the suppliers beside them but it can be arranged to remain anonymous if required.

Any indication about individuals who from your knowledge would provide a valuable viewpoint, please don't hesitate to say, thank you.

Thank you once, again.

Any opinion / voice is greatly appreciated.
