I remember playing this game a couple years ago and the ending still chills me.

Since I love horror and eerie games(hence the only type of game I ever made), I finally Purchased it. This was a well done game. The Surreal environments and the music was perfect for a game like this. A few thoughts I had during the game
Spoiler

1. I like how you left some things ambiguous, but the overall message clear to the player!

2. I was second guessing myself the whole time in the hospital on who the parasite was. You opened both to the Nurse and the Doctor, so both had the "getting close to you before hurting you" aspect that the maggot queen warned you about.

3. I performed the correct actions to have the nurse leave you a parting gift down in the hospital basement, but I felt I would have had horrid repercussions if I didn't do as the maggot queen requested(which is excellent since she symbolizes depression)

4.Out of all the parasites, I found the pest control couple to be the most interesting. I wondered if the wife was actually demonic or not or if she actually existed since it was not in the other realm were the cat lady often visited.

5. I know now after reading earlier on this thread that the developer said there wasn't time to do a fully developed story to the man that visited you with flowers, but I initially thought when I answered the door that it was the man from years ago that tried to ruin your previous marriage. Well...until he tried talking when he wanted you to play the piano hah.

6. I was thinking the whole time that the neighbor was a parasite and wondered why he wasn't dealt with until I read that he was a nod to Downfall

7. I thought the monotone babysitter associated was hilarious!

I figured the developer would be interested on a players initial thinking when they played his game so there ya go! And as I said before, a very well done game!

Hopefully not a long shot but...

I am looking to see if anyone is interested in doing Character art OR animations for said Characters. Wanting to do both is a plus of course. There is no deadline of any kind. I have been brooding on this game off and on for two years. This is forcasted to be a medium length game. PM If interested and I can send you a little design document about the game. Since I really would like to find someone, this could easily be turned into a paid position.

The background images shown below are done by fellow AGSer Gameboy!

I was one of the suckers to romance Tali in hopes that I would see what she looks like without her space suit mask, but was trolled by the developers!

General Discussion / Re: SOPA and PIPA

I am probably rather ignorant in the SOPA ordeal but from my understanding is that it is censoring what Americans can and cannot view on the internet. Also with the National Defense Authorization Act, the outlook here is getting to be quite scary. Regardless if the congressmen want these laws for good reasons. There is no telling how the government will interpret them years from now.

I would really like to see how you do your backgrounds! Also you know who to get ahold of again when you want beta testing done :)

I no longer had an excuse to not get them, so I bought the whole Blackwell package on steam!

That trailer was awesome! Your game may have just went up near the top of my list  ;D

Sorry for taking forever to respond. That is indeed how you get the joke ending and also I finally was able to replicate the error. I found the script problem and updated the download links for future players.

Forgive me for bumping up this game since the topic is a little old but Reloaded.Org decided to feature the game just in time for Halloween!  ;D

it can be viewed here

Damn if only I didn't live in the states and have a more than full time job! Record it or something :=

I would really love to see that Nosferatu game come into fruition, it looks and sounds very good!

It seems that my artist for my past games will be unable to commit to my next project. As I am not satisfied with my art and would like to focus on other aspects of the game I would like to see if anyone is willing to do background art for me or most of the art aspects of the game in general.

I am not looking for jaw dropping graphics necessarily just pleasant enough to get the job done.

THIS IS A PAID POSITION since I really want this project to get off the ground.

General Discussion / Re: GTD: DLC
Mon 13/06/2011 19:25:20
    * What kind of DLC are you willing to pay for? Why?

When I buy down loadable content, its usually stuff that warrants hours upon hours of extra game play (expansion packs). Most smaller DLC stuff is about roughly 5 buck and in my opinion turns kinda into a super market of getting the best bang for your buck, so a lot of the DLC available for the games I have purchased are often skipped and ignored by me. (I will explain more in the next question)

    * Do you believe that DLC is a good/bad thing? Why?
I don't think DLC is right for every game  project. While I do understand that its to keep people employed and hone peoples crafts, but getting new weapons, costumes or even getting armor for my horse for a couple of bucks just really doesn't interest me.

Now in the same aspect if I really enjoyed the game I purchased, I want to continue to support the people that made it. I think DLC is a good way to do that. example: *Mass effect, Dragon age, Red dead*

    * Do you agree/disagree with any of the above statements? Why?
To be honest there wasn't anything that red flagged  me with your above article. Its nice to get the view from the other end of the spectrum of game development.

    * Do you think that the inclusion of exclusive DLC warrants Boycotting? Why?
As long as it will become available later at some point from a different outlet. One of my friends from High school runs a game store and I will always purchase my games there. So in a way its kinda a waste that they would make something exclusive if you pre order from gamestop or whatever game store and then not have it available everywhere 6 months down the road.

I may edit this post if I think of anything else.

Ooh I think this theme has my creative juices going

I was actually wondering a few days ago if there was some sort of hold up behind the scenes with the ratings panel and I guess I am not the only one that was thinking it. But then I noticed that a couple of games have recently been rated. I kinda feel weird for complaining about something like that especially since this is a fairly active and a great internet community and all.

Either way I think it may be a little hard to decide who would get to rotate in the panel and review games. How would one be deemed worthy to rate the games, regardless if they have been here awhile?
