And a lot of them don't have brains...

I wasn't aware of that, thanks for sharing.

And damn you brought Vel out of the chambers of darkness!

I don't regret anything... except that. Sorry, that wasn't my intention.

...but still, they offer ~5 hours of gameplay(and cutscenes) together

Yes, that's right. There are 5 hours of gameplay and cutscenes together. That's true. I couldn't find the gameplay yet, but there are definitely at least 5 hours of cutscenes.

I'm only going to say this once.

And I appreciate it very much. Okay, back to topic...

If you had paid $30 for the game (or even $20 or, hell, $10!) I could see a reason to complain about the short lengths of each episode

We all have to pay for free games. We pay (life)time and we pay money. Who has to pay all that internet hours it took me to download that 800 MB monster? It's me.

...your remake of a fan sequel, because the art actually was pretty good

Thank's a lot.  :)

Aside from that, does this chapter actually have puzzles in it?

It's a Puzzle Fest.

Folks, please do me a favor. TV-Cez needs our help. Please go to this site and tell him how excited you are. That's no joke. Please, do it now. The situation is serious.

That looks really great, I was a bit disappoint when played Demo I but I think Demo II will be very interesting.
When do you think, demo II will be ready?

Demo II is already finished. It will be released at the same day as Episode 2. We want to use the remaining time for making more old style close-ups like the one above. They will be the icing on the cake of Demo II.

How are you planning on creating backgrounds that are not contained in KQVI, such as the courtyard?

Let yourself be surprised. :)

ok  all this is ripped even amy's narration

No it isn't. There's a lot of new stuff in the demo. We have new hall backgrounds and Graham animations. The narrator will be replaced as soon as we have a better one.

Is there even anything else to expect?

Not at the moment, I'm afraid. The next demo will longer, I promise. But please don't expect too much. At this stage we just remake a game that doesn't have any puzzles.

Quote from: joelphilippage on Tue 24/08/2010 18:27:20I mean if the movement speed is not linked to the animation, it can look like the character is gliding. thats the case in the demo.

Okay, now I see what you mean. I will reduce the animation speed of the character in the next demo. Thanks!  :)

Quote from: joelphilippage on Tue 24/08/2010 16:04:00You should also turn on the movement linked to animation property.

Okay, I've checked Grahams animation now and it looks fine to me. What's the problem in your oppinion? Does he walk too fast or too slow?

It seems you missed the irony there. Oh well.

13. You feel the need to reply to a thread, but you don't really have anything to contribute - what should you do?

1. Just reply with a smiley or 'zing'.
2. Reply saying "I don't really have anything to add but I thought I'd better post".
3. Don't reply at all.
