I don't think I'm going to download this.. probably ever. Even for free. As a survivor of rape, the idea of this abhors me. It's not something to joke about. I've been through ten years of therapy and I'm still agoraphobic. Why on earth would ANYONE put that in a game?? And, fyi, before you say I don't like it because it's sex with women, and because I'm female I wouldn't enjoy it, I LOVE Leisure Suit Larry, and other games of that ilk, and I'm pansexual, so it would appeal to me.. bar the f***ing rape!! I also like an option in game to be good or evil to an extent.. but with graphic sex scenes (I'm guessing) which are potentially assault, I don't think that's ok.

I* don't like to bring my personal experiences into stuff like this on the whole, but as game developers, you guys need to know a LOT of people of all genders are survivors of abuse, and this type of gameplay is very insensitive to the severe trauma we have been through..  I know that here in the UK, nearly half a million adults are sexually assaulted in England and Wales each year. If you think about that, it's a large percentage of your potential buyers.

I don't want to whine or preach, just putting it out there.

Try Pushing Up Roses or Lazy Game Reviews. They are Youtubers I watch regularly. and I *think* they're fairly popular (not pewdiepie level, obviously, but yeah) They both love classic adventures too.

I did a full scan and was fine. I've not had it happen on Mediafire before either, it just really spooked me! Sorry I vented at you, but I was annoyed after being stuck in a loop of trying to close the bastard thing. Not your fault really :*

I've just downloaded this to play, and not even opened it yet, but I have a minor criticism (sorry) The site it directed me to to download from was horrible (mediafire I think?) and brought up horrible pop ups insisting I had to call a toll free number about viruses infecting my computer (OHNOES!). I have ad blockers and all sorts, so no idea how it got through built it was most irksome as I couldn't even close the window, as I was determined not to click on it's ridiculous lying box telling me to phone for virus assistance... so I had to go to bloody control panel and end the process (which was just annoying as I had other stuff going I was doing at the same time, but I will live) I now feel dirty and will run a full virus scan my computer now  as I'm sure it was trying to do nasty evil things to me and my beautiful computer-child *shudders* It's the equivalent of needing a shower after going somewhere you're sure is crawling with disease...

I know Mediafire is a popular place to use, and it makes life easier, but it's so shady, and makes me scared to download things when it does dodgy things like that. :(

I reviewed it on my blog :)Well.. it was hard to review as I really didn't want to spoil the plot!

Oh thanks! That is so much clearer! I knew it was to do with that item, but hadn't quite worked out the execution!

I've been really enjoying playing this so far, but I'm stuck...

Spoiler
I'm trying to open the safe, and I'm guessing it's to do with the poem by the old barman, but I can't work it out- it's too cryptic! There's no numbers on the lock, and I'm really confused by the poem, I've tried all the combinations that seem logical to me.. I feel kind of stupid now and I've got sick of it making the loud noise at me for getting the combination wrong :undecided:

I love the sense of humour and the style, the only visual thing that jarred me was the way he walks was really peculiar, and some of the eyes looked a little googly and terrifying, but I sort of liked the eyes in a quirky way, the walk cycle not so much I'm afraid. Actually a really nice little game with what I've played so far though, and I'm an artist so I appreciate his plight :p

Wonderful game! Did make me think of this though (but that's a good thing)

Don't want anyone to think this has been forgotten. Rough sketch of an underground chapel. I use the thick pen tool to do my preliminary sketches like that- just to rough it out!! Little stick man for scale :)

I also have lots of character ideas. I've been fleshing out their personalities and history and reasons to be in the underground world and got LOADS now

Ooh I like it!

I went to Mary King's Close on my honeymoon. We're so cool :D It;s a very unique place.

So people really want in on this project then?? :D *blush*

Thanks guys. :D It was only very minor surgery at my local GPs, they lopped a little benign lump off my finger. It was healing well, but it's got a little infected... it's still a million times better than it was- the lump was very sensitve so I'm pleased to be rid of it!

I like the phrase "Best wishes to your finger" and my finger sends it's warmest regards back to you

Ok, this is really rough.. as I said, finger surgery yesterday, so bare that in mind. It's not much of anything but it's *something* Some bits are still squiggles, some are blurry, and well, those bricks aren't staying that way, but it does give the feeling of bricks for now ;)

I am totally planning on doing this, don't worry :) I've just had finger surgery today on my dominant hand after issues with it for over a month now, so hopefully I can start drawing again soon and will bring stuff here. It's been hell not being able to draw! :-X The problem was on the outside of my right ring finger, so however I leant to draw, it put pressure on the painful bit and I couldn't do more than little sketches. It should all be recovery from today, and I will be back MWAHAHA!

I Googled for more of those Denver Airport Murals and they are mental. Imagine if you merged that idea with the Williamson Tunnels?! Though the Williamson tunnels are much, much older.

I may be being weird, but I think the Williamson Tunnels deserve a whole game about just that not being plopped as a side part of another game, but as I shared publicly, I suppose I have no right to say what happens to my idea at all!

EDIT to add more.

Another thing, slightly nicked from another part of the same program was that they visited another underground tunnel system, with an enormous shaft that goes under the North Sea, as deep as is safe to go, there are mines for potash, and inside those mines, there are deep underground research science facilities. They literally descended this huge lift, right down towards the earth's core, so far it's quite warm down there, then drove in a land rover about 6 miles through winding tunnels to this research facility... it was mental. I could imagine getting lost navigating the tunnels, and trying to enter this locked facility in a game. They needed this place to research dark matter in a place that was quiet (not audibly quiet, but no movement and interference etc) but could you imagine a secret organisation doing illegal experiments down there? Researching weapons? Ooooh exciting.

I'm giving away all my ideas now. This is silly, but my ideas are nothing if kept to myself... I'm an artist not a coder or writer really :D
