I just got to (an) ending of this wonderful game and there was a point during the ending where the screen went black for an extended length of time while music played. I'm sure I read somewhere that the deluxe version mentioned an animated ending (I guess an FMV of sorts?). I'm wondering if the black screen I saw was meant to be something other than a black screen? I'm being deliberately vague about the details of the ending so as not to spoil anything for anyone, but hopefully anyone who has finished this will either have encountered the black screen, or whatever is meant to happen instead.
Thanks to anyone who can shed any light!

Looks like the walkthrough is long gone. Any chance of a repost?

Anyone able to help? I'm massively stuck.

Spoiler
The battery is in the main cockpit room. It's higher than your reach so you'll have to build a 'getter' tool using (metal chain + metal link ring + fiberglass + screws) then find an electrical outlet and charge the battery.

Even with that hint:

I have all of those items but I've tried using them together in various combinations and don't seem to be able to make anything.

It's still charging VAT? :o

I'll bug BMT again.  Obviously it's not something I can test myself.

Edit: I received a reply from BMT and they are just as mystified as I am.  Can you email me your order receipt that shows the VAT charge? (dave AT wadjeteyegames DOT com)?  Or email a screencap of it?

Well I haven't actually put it through because I keep backing off to see if it gets fixed. I can send you a screenshot of it applying the VAT if you like?

Pre-post EDIT: I'm stupid!

While getting the screenshot, I've just realised what's happening. It's listing 20% VAT as a thing I'm going to be charged, and then charging me nothing. So it looks like it is fixed.

Not sure at what point it changed because the last few times I refreshed, I was looking for the VAT listing to disappear or change to 0% rather than actually looking at what it was trying to charge me. Sorry for carrying on complaining about something that was already fixed!

It' avaliable until 29th of Feb. - lot's of time to get it  ;)

I had to to pay vat, too  :P

As I said earlier in the thread, normally I wouldn't complain because I'm supposed to pay VAT. :P

But as far as I know I'm not supposed to be charged VAT on charity donations. Hence why I'm holding out until this is fixed... I don't want the government digging their hands into my pockets when they're not supposed to.

They're* still trying to charge me VAT...

When does this bundle run until? I don't want to accidentally miss it while waiting for the VAT problems to be sorted.

*BMTMicro obviously, I'm not accusing Wadjet Eye of something dodgy. :P

I spoke to BMT and they removed the VAT.  They also fixed the Paypal issue that some folks reported.

Hooray, off to buy I go!

EDIT: Nope, I guess I need to wait for the changes to propagate or something. I'll try later.

Is the VAT going to be removed soon? I wouldn't normally complain (after all, it's not your fault I have to pay VAT normally), but this is for charity and AFAIK I shouldn't be charged VAT for it.

Pre-post EDIT: Oh, I see Dave Gilbert is looking into it, hooray!
