Once again, thank you all for the kind words!

As for the "Eat Shit" bit, one can never know what happens inside the complex brain of a visual artist...

Thank you all for the extremely kind words!

Happily Earthling Priorities has gotten some lovely press so far including mentions on PC Gamer and Warp Door :)

Thanks :) Hope you like it dear!

(BTW, not my first game mind you; my first adventure though!)

And it's done! Get it here!

After more than three years spent in quasi-development our short, sci-fi, comedic adventure game Earthling Priorities has been launched!

Download the game here: earthlingpriorities.demigiant.com -- it's freeware.

Earthling Priorities is a subtle mini-adventure game, partly homaging those good ol' times when Space Quest happened, and Big Brother was still considered a bad thing.

It is trying very hard to be pithy, but is mostly rather silly.

You'll point, click, solve at least one puzzle, and get to ponder the reality of your existence. Also, the importance of doors.

Developed with AGS by:

-Konstantinos Dimopoulos - Game Design & Writing

-Daniele Giardini - Graphics

-Jim Spanos - Coding

-Chris Christodoulou - Music

Thank you all for the encouragement dears!

Just updated the thread and the dev percentages a bit, and would like to let you know that we will most probably be ready to playtest this tiny little adventure in a couple of weeks or so.

Anyone interested just drop me a line / message me.

Cheers!

Thank you both, dears! We are really getting close :)

Hey all!

I know it's been too long since the Earthling Priorities announcement, and things had been slow for quite a bit, but the good news is that for the past couple months the team has made a lot of progress and the game should be ready relatively soon.

Will update the thread again as soon as possible :)

You'll make blush, you know...

And thanks so much Ben!

Why, thank you all so much for the encouraging words. And, yes, dear Captain; 't is true!

Why, thank you both for the kind words and wishes! Hope we manage to finish it soon -- preferably before 2016.

AGS Games in Production / Earthling Priorities

[Latest & final update: 3 August 2017]

Yours truly (gnome / Konstantinos Dimopoulos), Daniele Giardini, DualNames (Jim Spanos), and Chris Christodoulou are more than happy to let you know that Earthling Priorities is a project that truly and properly exists. It is still under production, but it will soon grow up to become a short and subtle sci-fi adventure game, partly homaging those good ol' times when Space Quest happened and Big Brother was still considered a bad thing.

**UPDATE** Launching August 3rd 2017! LAUNCHED!

The Story:

Not to spoil anything, but Earthling Priorities is, when all is said and done, a game about going to work. In the future. It involves a very clever door.

Recruitment / Looking for a graphics artist
Wed 23/04/2014 11:07:58
Hello!

It's Konstantinos (a.k.a. gnome) from Indiegames.com, Gnomeslair.com, Adventure Lantern and Kyttaro Games and, well, I've decided to create a small, obviously freeware AGS adventure game.

It will be a short sci-fi comedy thing and most of the design has already been done; what it sorely lacks are graphics. All of the graphics, to be precise. Hence, I'm looking for a kind soul who'd enjoy helping out (helping out:an euphemism for creating characters, backgrounds, inventory items, possible interface elements and other lovely things).

The game will be low-res, 320x200, and hopefully in the style of the early Space Quests.

Sadly, I cannot afford to pay you...

So, any takers?

Thanks!
