- use the hamster on the exposed wires in the ball of twine restaurant
- use the hot sauce on the hamster
- use the absinthe from the sleeping ghost on the hamster
- use the blue alcohol (can't remember the name) on the hamster

Made quite a bit of progress in part 5 and have got something from the head, thread and dead for the voodoo doll recipe but can't find something from the body. Have tried giving the governor the Popsi Lie, chocolate coins and gold herring but it doesn't seem to do anything. Suspect I might need to do something to the Popsi Lie before giving it to her?  Also can't get past the choleric commode.

Hi shadow, do you perhaps have a savegame for me? This sounds weird, I like to check it out.

I sent you a saved game. Just for fun, I reloaded from before part 4 begins to see if the variables reset and I got a different recipe which I used and that didn't work either. I must be missing something.

All you do is line up the number with the symbols all pointing UPWARDS TOWARD THE ICON and then USE the central bolt and the door opens? Am I missing any steps?

I am stuck on Lonkey Island.

I got the lukewarm cervisia, order card, paddle, and lemon. I can't figure out how to make a cannonball or get past the guy. I can't get the pencil or get into the party. What should I do next?

Push (or maybe pull?) the do not disturb sign upstairs at the hotel to flip it round and wait for the receptionist to come and clean the room. Quickly head downstairs and grab the pencil

Use the gold herring on the stone pedestal and you'll see that it reacts. Use the gold herring again on one of the skeleton wall decorations (I think it's one of the ones on the right) and you'll find the other stone disc. Place both discs on the pedestal

I have the grog that I created, the banana picker, broken madonna, gold herring that I can switch to straw, syringe and pills. I gave the crack to the bird before I entered the jungle. I'm up to the dinosaur and I can't get out of that room because I need a map or guide. I assume that the herring is the guide because of the way he holds it when you use it but I can't use anything on it. Herbert is no help.

You can give them one of the t-shirts, but you have to use the weaver's crook first to change its colour. Might have to use the crook on the ball of twine first (and maybe ask the lady of the summit about the twine to find out it was made by the weavers).

Well, I did the stink bomb on the garden and the gardener is upset. It seems that I need to give him something to comfort him but it's just a matter of guessing what he might want and I tried everything and I tried purchasing everything and no go. I have no idea what myrtle is for and same with the t shirts. No idea where to get a monkey for the nose from still.

These two puzzles really feel like a "read my mind" game.

It looks like there are multiple ways to solve some puzzles as I used the stink bomb to solve the puzzle that let me get to the clearing with the giant monkey head and used the fake vomit to distract the gardener (I think you just need to do this so he'll let you take the cannabis?)

Have you been to the village with the vegan cannibals yet? I think there's some stuff you can do there with the items you've got.

The only monkey in the game that I've encountered is the 3 headed one so I guess I'm not there yet.

As far as doing a lot elsewhere, so far goals in the game have pretty much followed one after the other. Solving one challenge would provide the means of progressing. As I said, I did the stated goal of ending the party but I have no achievable clear goals at this point.

The only loose ends now:
- Getting food for the Sasquash. Based on the previous hint I am not there yet
- Getting the gate open. Based on your message I'm not there yet as there is no monkey
- There's nothing to do with the joint yet
- I don't know if I am supposed to but the guy with the gun is preventing me from entering the passage on the ghost ship
- Also on the ghost ship it's possible that I need to get past Erna but this is not clear if this is a goal.
- I think that I still need pepper as the one on the ship can't be used.

I don't know if I need to do something with the items from the shop (elvis plate and stink bomb and t shirts) so I don't want to waste the money yet till I see a purpose. I don't know if I need myrtle so I don't want to spend the money there either. I don't know if you can run out of money in this game so I don't want to spend until I know that I need to. I also don't know if I need to do anything with the guys outside the casino or the haystack in the circus.

Don't know what 'important but useless' item to give Bertold. The red herring seems the obvious choice, but I fed it to the cat! Also thought of the credit note, but I burnt that to set off the cannon.

Can't get past Weird Al. It looks like I need some kind of weapon and I've tried using everything in my inventory.

Don't know how to get the band to play a new song. I'm guessing I need them to play something loud so the captain can't hear me sneaking about?

Also still need to find the 'monkey' for the nose.
