Hey,

I think you could gain a lot from simply changing the frames in which he rises.
If you stand up and walk around you will notice you are at the height of your walk as your standing leg
straightens and the other leg is passing forward.

Good luck with everything.  ;)

Love your art! :)

If there is anything I'd change...
It's going to be a pain to animate; did you keep the highlights as a separate layer
or are they flat?

Hey everyone.

I was wondering how the 4k switch in resolution is going to affect many of you making games?

Has anyone on here:
•thought about making/already producing any adventure games exploiting this new rise in resolution?
•Considered adapting/upscaling their already successfully made releases?
•will AGS be supporting the increase?
• What are your thoughts on the whole change coming and how it will change your production?

Obviously this won't effect those who wish to make games in a pixelated style, but it may open up
some unforeseen(by myself) benefits.

thank you for reading.

Dom.

Hey.

I like what you have done already.
There is a discrepancy between the styles of cat.
The side being realistic and the front more cartoon-like.
If your game is 'cat-heavy' then the best thing to do is study.
Draw cats from all angles, see how they move, how they are put together.
There may be a video of a cat on the internet somewhere for reference. ;)

Good luck!

Did i spot a holy grail cocktail in your pictures? (laugh)

Congratulations.
This looks so unique.
The style,characters,locations...perfick!

It reminds me of Rocko's modern life and all those other quirky 90's nick toons.

Oh and a crab playing pool with a sloth, yes...just yes. (nod)

I just tried the demo.

You've done a nice job on the game.

The animations are great, especially the walk cycles.

Also loving the BG's.

I found the main character's voice to have a lot more reverb than everyone else, but all are acted very well.
I also think you're missing some ambient sound, especially from the street scene.

All in all though, a very nice game.

Looks beautiful.

I love the effect a simple palette brings.

Edit: I downloaded the ludum dare 'demo'.

It was very refreshing to play.
More like an interactive drama; it was intriguing.

Thanks for the votes guys. I promise I didn't copy the Simpsons.

I voted for 1, 5 and 11. I thought 1 was great.

I didn't mean it to sound peevish it just made me laugh when i thought about that south park episode
where every idea butters comes up with the simpsons have already done.

I think you are the deserving winner, i curtsey to your majesty, o lorx a lordy. (laugh)(nod)
