Looking gorgeous!
I love the step up in resolution. Hope it will pay back in the end as well for Wadjet Eye - but if it can work for Daedalic - then why not :)
Crossing fingers.

The Narnia books, maybe? Gulliver's Travels?

Oh wait, can it not be a book?

Yes it can(but I might be too lazy to read :-[ lol),Gulliver's Travels isn't a world filled with weird creatures but tiny people :P.

Then you only watched the movies ;) Gulliver met various creatures during his travels on various island visits often with a context of social critique directed at society at the time the works were written. Not just the tiny people.

If you want to write - I'd recommend to read though - as much as you can of all sorts of things. If you're stuck you might try experiment with thinking about "what would not happen" in your scenario just to try to get the thought machinery going - and then you might end up with something usable.

Hm, I see what you're getting out, like pulling the surface of a balloon out and then letting go (except the balloon is the fabric of spacetime, hehe).  This isn't actually the final animation at any rate, it will actually be longer in game as this is a particularly epic and pivotal scene altogether.  Thanks for the suggestion, Mathias!

The ballonpulling was a perfect example of what I was getting at :)

Just wanted to chime in and give you my sincere best wishes. I liked the original game, despite the flaws you mentioned. With that in mind this could be great! Love the sketch of Elisa by the way.

If you still have the timetravel animation in layers - I'd like to suggest to cut out quite a few frames out of the pinch effects ending when the view goes back to normal. At the moment it looks like a perfectly even curve. In my opinion the animation would benefit from more of a snap in the end there - making the later section of the curve steeper if that makes any sense. You could achieve this by increasingly taking out frames towards the ending where the background goes back to normal. Keep up the good work.

I get that you named the game from the plague bacteria called Yersinia Pestis, though whats the meaning of the number 13? Or did the number 50 fall off from the title? =)

Just out of curiosity since its an intersting time period that definatly left it's mark on the world and quite shaped europes future.

Well done! Fame in Greece is an old man walking around your house...? Cool stuff though. Oh, I found a subtitled version ;)

Fairly funny, though on Dualnames behalf. I love the house. That place got character!

Nice work. Looking forward to see more of this game.

I dont think it's possible to smoothly zoom in during dialoge unless you write specific code for it, but you could possibly switch to a new room for each character dialogue with characters set up zoomed in as you want it and then switch back when leaving the dialogue.

You've got my attention! Looking forward to see more of this.

What you ask for is no problem at all. Just make sure that you're able to keep the art down to a collective sprite filesize below 2gb due to limitations in the engine (unless I'm wrong and that issue now has been fixed). However I suppose you could get around that issue though if you render videos where you move the viewport around the various points in each scene.

Looking good! Best wishes with the game.

Storyboard. Helps get the visual language in place before shooting and might speed things up alot as well as help on continuity.

Think you have a ton of interesting things going on with Tardigrades. Looking forward to see more of it.

Hi

Whilst we are at it... It may be an idea to have an option to remove all unused sprites when compiling the game to save space and clutter. Well, food for thought (laugh)

I'd say to plan your development better so you don't end up with a ton of unused clutter ;) Or in Brad Birds Words - Use every part of the Buffalo.
