Stuck again, with the switches

Solved the two upper rows of switches, but the lower one, doesn't make sense. Maybe I thought I understood it, but "solved" it with luck.
Can someone smarter than me spoon feed me the puzzle?

This game is really good, but need some help

Outside the ship I am supposed to look for the beacon, but can't see anything.
Tried pixel hunting, but no luck.
Is it a light? Something flashing?
