Thank you!!!  :-D

Yeah, we took the demo down because it was really out of date, as we've made many changes to that first part of the game for the final release. We didn't think about releasing a new demo now as it wasn't that long of a game, and to be honest we were so keen on finishing it that it didn't cross our minds either. But now that you mention it, maybe we'll think about it!

A friend of ours did a Fan Art/Room prototype in the Godot engine a while ago, in Voxel art, so you probably may have seen that!

But the original was in 2D pixel art all along, and it's the same project.

We released a demo back in 2019, and it was nominated for an AGS award for Best Demo. It took a while for it to get finished, but it's finally here :D

Completed Game Announcements / Personal Rocket
Sat 05/02/2022 19:01:49
Hi, everyone! We're a little team called Orbis Tertius Games, and this is our first commercial AGS game :D

Personal Rocket

"Paranoids are not paranoids because they're paranoid, but because they
keep putting themselves, fucking idiots, deliberately into paranoid situations."

--Thomas Pynchon, Gravity's Rainbow

AVAILABLE ON STEAM AND ITCH.IO

The Story

Six months ago, Cole Fisher was fired from his job as a computer engineer at Cosmic X, a corporation devoted to the betterment of the human race, the pursuit of world peace and eventual space conquest. The reason? He found out what they're really up to. It's quite obvious, you know. They're trying to take over the world.

Since then, Cole has been holed up in his apartment hacking his way through endless labyrinthine connections, gathering as much data as he could to expose the biggest conspiracy in human history.

And now, Cole has had a surreal vision, a religious experience, a close encounter, call it what you like. A Mysterious Messenger has told him it's time to act and bring down Cosmic X once and for all. Or at least that's his take on it.

Personal Rocket is a tale of paranoia and loneliness, the evils of capitalism and too much web surfing, the material world and the Occult universe, with some humor sprinkled throughout. Your typical postmodern blues.

Added the link for the AGS game page: https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/2357/  and you can comment and review the demo there, too, just like user Wiggy did (thanks, Wiggy!)

I'm mostly argentino-italiano, from my father's side, though I believe I have some Spaniard/creole blood from my mother's side.

Muchas gracias!!

And yeah, we stole the name from Borges, that mad genius. It also means "third world", so, us coming from Argentina, it seemed fitting

Thanks for your support!

SPANISH TRANSLATION

Hi! I'm an Argentinian freelance translator and writer currently living in Spain. I have nine years of experience working in translation, mainly in the subtitling and closed captioning industry. I have also translated articles, fiction, comic books, and academic papers, and I want to branch out into videogames, especially adventure games, since they are a passion of mine.

I also have some experience with AGS, because I'm co-designing and writing a game called Personal Rocket, which is still in production.

I can translate into Latin American Spanish and/or European Spanish. I could work for a flat fee or a mixture of flat fee and royalties of the translated versions.

PM me or contact me at marianofalzone@gmail.com for any queries or further information.

Cheers!
