ok, So i came up with this idea (actually it was my girlfriends idea) :
draw something really cute ( i wanna see pink rabbits, chipmunks, teddy bears, etc. )
sprite size : max 70x70
colors : no limit here.

you could try removing those black outlines from the image

i was thinking about that old black 'n white movie but i may be the invisible man from hollow man as well. i think that's the most realistic sprite i made ever... if you get rid of the text, arrow and that ring of some kind.

looks great. just one thing about the character : he's arms are to long   but i really like how you did his jeans, great work.

good job, the diffrences between the 1st version and the new one are clear. one thing that bothher me is the white thing behind the broken glass window. looks like it had been cut out of the picture.
