Hey there!

Good luck with this one! I like the story, and your backgrounds really look interesting. Although they aren't top notch, they create an uneasy and unique atmosphere. :)
I'm definetely going to play this one. Keep it up!

By the way, what's that song you used in the teaser? It rocked.  :D

See you!

Hey Sektor!

I haven't posted here for quite a long time, but now I just have to!

Great game! It really brought me back on track - for months I haven't been dealing with adventure games, but now the fascination is back again. Thanks for that!  :)

Your graphics are simply brilliant. Or, as Darth Vader said: "Your skills are complete." The backgrounds look fantastic, the characters and their animation are far better than in the Stargate game. The puzzles are fair and entertaining - just the way, I like it.

The only thing I didn't really like was the story-progression. The idea itself was okay, even that clone-thing was right up my alley. But the story never really sucked me into the game. It was 75% puzzle-solving, and 25% wondering about what's going on there. I can't really give you any hints or tips on how to improve your story-telling, since I'm working on my own gane for ... quite a long time. Anyway, I don't have a lot of experience as a game-writer. I can just tell you my feelings as a player.

Maybe you should start writing short stories.  ;)

Anyhow: Great, great game! I totally enjoyed playing it! Hooray for this community! And once more, I'll try to get back to my own game.  :P

Wow! Just looking at those sprites is a massive inspiration. These are great! Good luck with your project there.

Hi there!

Just played your game. Nice job! I had fun ... the dragon made me smile.  :)

Thanks for ten entertaining minutes.

See you!

Hi there!

I'm just playing your demo - absolutely great. I always thought that I didn't care for a first person view in an adventure game. Playing "The Marionette" I don't know where I got that idea from.  ;) The looks, the music ... everything just sucked me into the story. What else is there to say?

Godd luck with this one!

Hello there!

I played your demo and I have to say: Wow! Great job. You really created a nice atmosphere there. I'm really looking forward to the completed game. Thumbs up!  :)

And this new background looks really good, too. You have a pleasant and consistent style! Love it ...

Good luck with the game!

What's the deal with adventure games? - I once thought about doing a Seinfeld adventure. I'm still in love with this idea, but I find it extremly hard to come up with puzzles for that one. Funny dialogues? - Yes. Entertaining gameplay? - Well ...

Hi there!

Nice one ... I sent you a PM concerning the problem with the character's size.

See you!

Wow, what a great game. Thanks, for creating this awsome series!

The only thing I didn't get: what was so special about this building inspector to become the new ... thing? However - great atmosphere. I really enjoyed this game. And certainly not for the last time.

Thanks a lot!

My first attempt at sprite jamming:

Ã,  Ã, Ã,  Ã, x2
(14 Colors, 34*34)

Pick the wrong movie I did.

Why limit the Bond character to a sophisticated accent? Hasselhoff could imitate that!  ;D Besides, he already has a great deal of experience with gadget-stuffed cars.
#14
What the ... The Hoff still has the same crumpy videos like in that Ooga-Chaka-Period?
Good looking guy and brilliant actor he is - makes you wonder why nobody has suggested him as the next Bond.Ã,  ;D

Hi there!

Don't get me wrong, please - these backgrounds look mighty great. But (here it comes ...) they remind me of several comics, too.
For example the well and the river bank in the first one - they look a lot like the stuff from "Asterix and Obelix". Most of the other elements remind me of Disney-drawings. Now, is that goo or bad? Well ... These pictures somehow remind me of composite backgrounds, generated by some "make your own game in three days"-software ... except for that car, which seems oddly out of place. But, overall, I like the style. Cartoon-style is always to my liking. If you can manage, to fit your characters into these backgrounds, everything's fine ... And I wouldn't care for more detailing, either.

I guess, that was not helpful at all.Ã,  ;D

What I wanted to say is: I like the style, but it lacks personality, because I always ask myself "Where have I seen that before". But I think, that would by my personal problem ...?Ã,   ;)

Hello there!

I've been around this forum for quite a while now, working on games, cancelling them ... business as usual.  ;)

But now: New game, new name.

So, hello once again! I'm Stefan, 30, from Germany. Hopefully, this time I'll be a more constructive member of this really great community.

See you around!

So, what do you imply? - That I should read the stuff that I link to?Ã,  ;D

Ooops ... I feel dumb. If you don't mind, I'll continue banging my head against that brick wall.

Thanks a dozen!  :)

Ahoi there!

I just started working on my first game ... for the tenth timeÃ,  ;) . Anyway, I was looking for a good working title, and thought "The Thule Deception" sounded kinda good. There's just one question: How do you pronounce Thule? Is it "Thewl", or "Tooly", or what? Not, that it's really important - I just want to konw.

Thanks!Ã,  :)

Excellent, indeed...

Thanks a lot for that, ProgZmax! I see, what you mean. My mistake was, that I did things in the wrong order. I shaded the walls, the carpet and everything, and only then I added the lamp. Next time shading comes last!

Boy, these were some helpful hints, you all gave me. Can't wait for the weekend, to give it another shot.   :)

Wow, this has some nice atmosphere. I'm really seeing all kinds of landscapes in my head - and I have only had one beer by now.  ;)

I would agree tho, that some kind of a medieveal flute-thingie would fit the lead melody even better.

But again: great! Really, really enjoyable.
