I'm trying to complete this game, but I'm stuck, I consulted a walkthrough and it says to get the mail from the table in the hall 'get close to it and TAKE MAIL' but this doesn't work for me? Any help.

Hi Buloght.

I bet the walkthrough doesn't say anything about a table ;) Try another section of the house instead.

Spoiler
Check out the hallway near the front door

Good luck!

Joker will NEVER get me.

Well, I've got Adam West tied up in my basement, so that's close enough.

Great to see you're all anxious to play this game! Very motivating!

To get things straight; The characters will be from early Sierra games that were using the AGI engine (sorry to disappoint you, Afflict). However, if succesful, a sequel might be in order, of course :)

But Manhunter will be there. Jerrod Wilson from Goldrush, Gwydion, Manannan and many more.

Thanks for you comments; keep those suggestions coming! :D

Thanks for the encouragement so far!

Afflict: We're using Blitz Basic for this one.

Vel: I think we probably will; making adventure games never gets boring.

Ghormak: You'll get it! :)

Pablo: Glad you liked it! And please do.

I'll edit this thread from time to time to keep you all up to date!

Hi there!

It has been about two year since we've released 'Enclosure', so we thought it was about time for us to start working on a new game. Adventure Games were a nice experience after years of 'Beat'm-ups', but still that last genre 'kept calling'...

So we decided to combine these two good things into one:

We from Femo Duo Entertainment are proud to present our latest 'Work In Progress' called

"Combat of the Quests" (working title)

Let me give you a short summary: It's about kicking butt !!

A couple of screenies to get you going:

Even before 'Enclosure' we toyed with this idea, using the AGI engine... However, the AGI engine was too limited (control-wise mostly, but also scrolling screens, etc.), but still the idea kept lingering. Finally, finding a suitable engine, we decided it was time to let this idea go into development.

Check it out at our website.

Just click on CURRENT...

Have fun!

DO I NEED ANOTHER FLOWER ??? or SOMETHING ELSE ???

Green just says the flower is fenominal but will not move ???

ANY SUGGESTIONS ???

You don't need another flower. Some fruit maybe?

(Try searching the private quarters)

Good luck!

Never change a winning team! (er... or something like that)

It works, so I think it's fine as it is! Great job!

Hi everyone.

Vel: No, not at the moment. But have you tried Hank's Quest: Victim of Society? This is another AGI-game & is downloadable at our site.

Krynge: We were getting a lot of hits  coming from this site, so I checked it out. It took me a while to find this particular thread, but it was worth the effort. :)

Shbazjinkens: I'll PM you.

James_isaac: Thanks. Changed it.

Hi,

I'm a member of Femo Duo Entertainment. I did the art-work & the programming of 'Enclosure'.

Well, I must say we were a bit overwhelmed & feel quite honoured when reading all these replies. It's nice to see a game gets appreciated! Thank you Krynge for this 'shameless advertising'. ;)

QuoteCool! It reminds me of 'The Thing'.
I got the inspiration for making a game taking place in the snow from a comic. But more people were comparing it with 'The Thing', so, just for fun, we put in several references to this movie. Alfred Hitchcock's Family Plot however, we never saw.

QuoteThe music splices didn't bother me too much, I imagine they're spliced simply to fit with what's going on on screen.
Quoteyou're in a snow storm, that's the effect
QuoteThe only way I found was to edit the ini file.
QuoteJohan Flemmix who is really mad in the head
All true.

Once again, I'm glad you liked the game!  For us amateur designers, compliments are currency.  It's the only payment we can accept! :)

Okay, I've scouted around the forum and there are some pretty cool games to be found here. Going to play some of them now.
