Hi all. Not sure if this is the correct place for this but....

I'm pretty sure the link to the game Equilibrium - Out of Time is messed up.

http://www.freewebs.com/equilibrium-movie/EQGame.zip

Has anyone got a working link?

Thanks.

Just downloaded this. I've got a flat-screen lcd monitor and the top of the screen has disappeared off the top. I can't alter the monitor enough to get it in, so is there anything I can do to get it full-screen? It's not as good windowed.

My 2 cents:

I've always loathed sampled dialog in adventure games. I mainly dislike it as I read very quickly, and the speech always plays catch-up, meaning that I just click through it. This makes the dialog sound rubbish, so I always prefer text-only dialog.

I also think that reading the text allows greater interpretation on the behalf of the player, which helps me to become more immersed in an adventure game. This is especially important to the jokes in these games, as badly-voiced jokes will always fall flat.

I think that good music/droney noises and sound effects are much better at creating an atmosphere than real voices.

My fave adventures are Beneath a steel sky and the first 2 monkey island games, which had no voice acting.

Hi. i was wondering what people thought were the funniest AGS games. I thought Perils of poom was pretty funny, and very engrossing. what do you people think?

Cheers.

I would like to contribute music for an AGS game.

To hear some of my work go to www.geocities.com/landslidepurist

This kind of nasty/dark/droney music is what I normally make, but I'd be happy to curtail my style if the project is particularly interesting. I mainly use the tracker-based program Mod Plug Tracker but I have just got Logic Audio Platinum and Soundforge to make some new stuff.

I'm also interested in proof-reading/script editing/story line helping.

I would help with animation but I haven't used any animation packages since the Amiga 1200.....

Please email me if interested - landslidepurist "AT" yahoo dot com.

Thanks.

Hello. I'm of British persuasion. I like adventure games very much. I'm also a musician and would be happy to make some music and collaborate with  people who are making games.
I can't do programming so can't make my own ones. I'd do some character design, but I suck at photoshop. Give me Deluxe Paint anyday.

if you go to 'wavy tree' and wait for a while, a naked man peers round a tree. if you try to talk to him he disappears. very silly. i like it .
