Sent you an email about possibly helping out with the game.  Not really an animator or anything but a huge fan of the series as a kid and have been waiting for someone to take on this project for a long time.

So I've been working at a juvenile detention center lately as a corrections officer and possibly realized something.  When I was a kid I loved the Police Quest games more than anything.  I still love them and wish either for remakes or new installments, both of which I know probably won't happen.  But I was thinking about the possibility of working some sort of prison type game, resembling Police Quest?  With corrections officers doing room searches, dealing with gang problems, inmates, etc.  Not sure how it would work, but it's just something I thought I'd throw out there?  If you guys think its a lame idea don't be afraid to throw it out there. . .

[Story Design]

 Story Design - I am just here to offer my services as sort of a "consultant".  I notice a somewhat popular theme for adventure games is mystery, murder, detective, etc.  I work in law enforcement (I'll just leave that as my job title, it's easier, lol)  I am very knowledgeable about the "ins and outs" of the whole law enforcement/detective world.  Therefore if anybody needs any assistance making a story seem "realistic" or just wants a proof read, I am more than happy to do so.

Proof Reading - This basically just ties into the above information.  Hope I can be of help to someone, I'd love to put all this knowledge to good use!

HEY I got an idea.  Let's ruin a bunch of good threads by acting like a drill sargeant and posting a bunch of rules.  You can't do this you can't do that blah blah blah . . . Maybe think about just letting people post and read as they like, instead of making the forums like a prison huh?  Oh well, I'll probably be banned for this, but at least I got to say it, because it's what a lot of people think.  Does it feel cool to have power and delete posts and post a bunch of rules in every thread?

I have seen a few old posts on these boards about Police Quest 2 remakes, does anybody have any info on these projects or did they fall into the "I told them I was making a game and then disappeared, so basically I got everybody's hopes up for absolutely nothing" box.  Or any other remakes that may have been mentioned???

Basically either any Kings Quest or Police Quest games.  Although most importantly Police Quest which are by far my favorite, and if I have to pick one it would probably be Police Quest 3 for the overall game and Police Quest 2 for the storyline.  I long for the day when somebody will remake or create an unnofficial sequel to the police quest series, since KQ and also Space Quest get all the attention, I feel police quest deserves some too! Anybody agree?

I have been searching the internet for games within the police genre.  The serious side of it, you know games like Police Quest 1-3, Blue Force, Pleughberg.  Those are the only games I have been able to come up with, and am curious as to if those are the only games that follow that genre, or if there are others out there (possibly AGS games?) that I have missed.  Any help is greatly appreciated...
