Not to mention, they suck =/

That's just my opinion, though.

What you guys need is a little bit of wrist control.

I'm not new, I made my account 3 years ago, but I rarely post.

And damn, I'm ashamed of my old posts.
Like, really ashamed. Like, look at that shitty grammar and spellings and whatnot.

Let's just say that wasn't me.

They could always make 2 trilogys with the same subject. Star Wars has 3 trilogies with 2 of them ready. Incase you didn't know. They could just cut the plot and make a future adventures of the son of Jack Sparrow :)

Actually, there are books about his adventures as a teenager. I've read the first one, which I enjoyed very much, and I think there are 3 books. It'd be cool to see.

I can see a big improvement there, cat.

With the shaded version, the light would always have to be on the right side.

What program did you use to make it with?

Yep, It's mainly like that. It'll have lots of puzzles and even side-puzzles that you don't need to do, but that can help you in your main game.

Introduction
Hello. Thank you for opening my thread link and peeking into my new project. I actually don't have anything against RON games, even though the title seems to oppose my words. I just think that the title suits the game name.

The game will be about Lars, a tall guy with an afro haircut. The game will be translated into Swedish and also other languages for those who wants to help me translate. I haven't really come up with an actual story yet, I just do whatever comes into my mind. Hopefully it will help me later.

It was fun, but when I clicked the help thing there were 2 other options to pick, that I never saw in the game.

His arms are still too short. Stand up, put your arms down and you'll see that your hands are just under your crotch. Other than that it's pretty good.

Works now. Thanks :)

I dont wanna tell you what they talk about, beacuse it involves in the making of my game, so I'll just "censor" it with other stuff =P

Code: ags
// dialog script file
@SÃ,  // dialog startup entry point
GUY1: SECRET MESSAGE
GUY2: SECRET MESSAGE
return
@1Ã,  // option 1
GUY2: SECRET MESSAGE
GUY1: SECRET MESSAGE
GUY2: SECRET MESSAGE
return
@2Ã,  // option 2 (I added this one but changed plans later =P)
@3Ã,  // option 3
GUY2: SECRET MESSAGE
GUY1: SECRET MESSAGE
Display("SECRET MESSAGE")
stop

There was an error compiling the script for dialog topic 0.
The error was:
Dialog (line 15): Unknown Command: 'display'

Do you want to edit your script to correct the error?

#16
In 2.71, they change some of the script commands, so I try to write Display("anything"), but when I try to save, it says that Display is an unknown command. Does anyone know the new command, or if there is a list or something with all the commands and explanations?

Sounds cool. I can't download it right now, I'm on the school computer. I'll do it when I come home.

The background on your screenshot seems cool and I suspect there will be other good backgrounds in the game.

The character sprites are nice done and the inventory items seems cool as well.

Now...
WHO IS THE OTHER ONES SEEKING FOR THE TREASURE!?!?!?

I'll check Moho out, it sounds good. Thanks for the help, and also, Flash could be used as well, and I'm lucky beacuse I have it. I love myself for trying to make sprite movies now.

In Flash, there is an option called "Motion Tween", which makes the object move by itself (etc if you have a keyframe at frame 50 and then drag the main object to the other side and tween it, it will animate itself to go there.) The same thing, but this time to drag up legs and make a walking animation is what I could use. Is there any animator that has this feature?

Sounds very intresting, I was thinking of Grand Theft Auto a while when reading your story. Could I maybe be a betatester? Or should we take that in PM?

Also I just had to say, in the forum rules it says:

QuoteA minimum of two (in-game) screenshots must be available.
If you aren't far enough to be able to take different screenshots, don't post yet!Ã,  We know some of you don't want to show too much of the game, but two screenies isn't too much to ask!Ã,  Please note that splash screens and options don't count as 1 of the 2.Ã,  They must be actual screenshots of 2 (or more) different backgrounds.

Edit: Maybe it shouldn't be me saying this, but a moderator instead?
