Critics' Lounge / Re: cemetery:night version

well, some people asked me if the screens are for a game,soÃ,  i'll tell you.
I'm thinking to make a game, but first i'd like to know what people like more, if screens in aÃ,  toon way or more realistic ones.I mean, if you likeÃ,  monkey islandÃ,  or syberia style.
Also it helps me to improve my work because is not for a long time i'm working with 3d software, but i've test that is faster to render scenes than to draw them, at least for me.
So i'll post screens to hear what you like more (and to know my mistakes tooÃ,  :)).
Finally, excuse my english tooÃ,  :-\

Well again, a new render(third render) to c&c.

ThanksÃ,  Darth Mandarb , nice edition. It looks much better this way. :)

Really, i never thought that a watermark could generate more critics than the picture, specially when in other forums the images that people post are automatically watermarked.
In the other hand, i don't think that Mordalles must be kicked for his opinions, because i think this is the object of a forum, isn't it?
#11
thank you for the link Mordalles, it's an interesting place.
#12
mods, what do you see in the light that is wrong, may i use more volume to the lights?

Critics' Lounge / night version of the scene
Sun 30/10/2005 11:17:27
As ildu suggested, i've been playing with fog and decided to make a night version of the day scene.
What do you think?

#16
really nice first attempt.i'd like to see your last works.
#17
First,Thank you to you all for your critics.

Nikolas, if you give an email i'll send you an 800x600 screen(with a little signÃ,  :)).

Increator and Andail, you're right.
I've rendered in 3d max. There is no post processing in photoshop or other and sure that need it.
The sky is too dark, the trees...i can see it now but i think i'm going to make new scenes better than work in this one,i'll upload here my works for you to critizice them(is the best way to find mistakes ;)).

Dcillusion i used a direct target light and a cenital light .I was looking a game scene better than a realistic one.

eliott hird, really is my first attempt.I have done other renders but only stand alone objects, so i tried to make a hole scene finally.I used some models like the barrils or the far building you can find easily in internet, or 3d software.
And my parents teached me don't to stealÃ,  >:(

So, you think this style is good for a game or may i tryÃ,  more toony or more realistic?
