I'm sorry if there are some things missing in the credits, but I did not have a lot of time as it was late at night when I uploaded it. My computer crashed as I was saving some last changes (such as credits changes) but I didn't have time to check if they were there before I uploaded.
All the credits are on the game's page still.

The music may have some problems because it is my first time putting music into a game. ;)

If anyone wants they can upload it to a faster mirror, then PM me with the details so I can fix it up.

Thanks for the support guys, now let me see if I can gather a bit of spare time over the next few weeks to fix up any obvious errors. ;) It's such a great feeling to have it finally released though.

Bye for now.

It may still be slightly "buggy" or appear unpolished in some places, but this is as good as I believe I can get it. I have found myself struck down by large burdens in my schoolwork, which is not getting any easier as I approach senior high school.

Bob Goes Home Deluxe

Game's Page

Just like the original, but better!
You are Bob.
Your main mission in life is to vandalise a school for some reason. Only problem is... you'll have to play to find out!

I hope you enjoy this as it is my first, best, and most likely last AGS game.

Well, some of you may have noticed my disappearance lately. I have had a lot of things to do with school, and a lot of other commitments. I wish for you all to know that AGS has been a large part of my life, and it will continue to be a part later on in my life. But with saying this, I must admit that I will not be participating in the forums and using AGS as often as I have done in the past. Please do not delete my account on this forum, as I will continue to use it, but not very often. I will try to finish my outstanding AGS game, Bob Goes Home Deluxe, but I will not be able to start any new projects. I may be able to help out with some other people's projects, but not as a full time member of a team.

Some of you in this community I have grown to become quite acquainted with, although many of you may not have realised.
LJUBI: You have been a great friend of mine and hopefully we will continue to be good friends.
Esper: Sorry that I couldn't help out with any sequels for you, but you are a great guy who has magnificent talent.
Mr Colossal: I have grown to respect you greatly, and you seem to be a very “in-control” kind of person.
ProgZmax: You are a brilliant artist and programmer and you deserve any recognition you get.
CJ: You are a massively awesome guy, with skills in programming of which I have never before seen outside of a large company.
Anyone I may have missed: There are so many people in this community of which have massive amounts of talent, but there are too many to list.

To everyone out there, keep up the good work, and never give up on whatever you want to achieve.

To those of you who are interested in my knee injury, I didn't end up having an operation on it, but I have been told to exercise it, and I do every day. It is gradually getting better, and I am getting back on the squash courts soon.

So I would just like to say thank you to everyone in here, and I wish you all the best.

Finally it has all come together.

The Rumpus Room / Re: Best ROCK song ever!
Wed 22/02/2006 19:43:18
Almost any Radiohead is awesome, particularly tracks from the albums OK Computer, Kid A, and The Bends such as:
Radiohead - Paranoid Android
Radiohead - Idioteque
Radiohead - Creep
Radiohead - The Bends

I also like:

Eagles - like Hotel California
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing
Dire Straits - Money for Nothing
Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water
The Butterfly Effect - One Second of Insanity (not a huge band, but very much worth checking out)

That's all I can think of right now.

(Check out my last.fm to see some other songs that I listen to.)

Hey there people, I have updated the first post with the latest details. Please take note of the need of musicians with spare time, or if anyone could point me towards a good source for music and sound effects.

Alright I am back and going in.

My friend has it running. It is called "AGS CLAN SERVER" and has normal deathmatch with no mods and all original maps. IP is "220.245.94.121:27961" so press "~" for console then type "/connect 220.245.94.121:27961" (without the quotation marks) if you can't see it from inside Quake.

I am in there now.

EDIT: Have to go have some food, will be back later to play. (Hopefully) The server is still open and it has 2 bots in there. Please post and say if you are going in.

How serious is this quake thing?

I played a lot when I was a few years younger :)
Why not relive that age once more.

In tiny lan parties we always played the xaero level, that's a super level when playing with like 5/6 players!

I strongly suggest that map! :D

My friend is getting his computer ready to run the server, checking settings etc. now. I think it will be great to do something like this, and like you said, I have had fun in the past with my friends playing first person shooters.

I'll talk to him about map rotation, we will probably have a fair few maps in there, no custom maps either.

Also there is the question of do we want just normal Quake 3 Arena, or do we want to play a mod like InstaUnlagged (server makes up for the players lags when they fire), berylium (has modifiers like grappling hook), and what weapons available (I like to play railgun only, but that would really only be ok if we played InstaUnlagged). At the moment I will ask to set it up as normal like you would have when playing single player.

As I said please post your comments and feedback here, otherwise I wouldn't know what to ask him.

I can, the game is called COUTN DOWN.

Just use a LARGE font to draw the numbers 56 thru 0 onto 57 background images, and then import them into room56.crm thru room0.crm.
In the "Player enters room (after fadein)" event of room1.crm thru room56.crm add the script:
Wait(40);
cEgo.ChangeRoom(cEgo.Room - 1);

Then in the "Player enters room (after fadein)" event of room0.crm add the script:
Wait(40);
Display("BOOM!");
QuitGame(0);

Just change the player's starting room to 56 and compile...

Simple eh? :=

Okay, Mr. Gilbot, here it is. COUNTDOWN 2.26mb (.zip file is 620kb) of extreme goodness, 57 rooms of the same.

If you can make a 57-room game in a week, I think we'll all take our hats off to you :P

Well I made this in 1 hour and 20 minutes.Ã,  ;D

EDIT: OMGZ0RZ!!!11 := Did you actually play it?

Just to be sure that you can enter the server and you are on the right version try to connect to "RAVENS Rocket&Rail" server by searching through the list or at the IP of 210.49.189.254
I also recommend the free version of "Yahoo! All Seeing Eye". It lets you see any server any time. Just have Quake 3 Arena on your list and check the box for "Australia" as the server will be in Australia.

Good to hear some people are still willing to give it a go.

General Discussion / Re: Quake 3 Arena

Ok I can get us a server which runs version 1.30 of Quake 3 Arena. The server will be called AGS Server or AGS Clan Server.
It will be ready at 08:30:00 a.m. Wednesday January 25, 2006 in GMT.

To check your time against this click me.

If you are running a different version of Quake 3 Arena:

If you happen to have the version 1.32 of Quake you can install a switcher which you can download here. Just scroll down and look on the right side for a file under the heading "Version Switcher".
Just ensure you have version 1.32 installed before installing the switcher. Also the switcher is not infected at all and works fine with my machine. (I use it regularly.)

Hope to see you there, and any feedback please post here.

EDIT: Found out that the server should be running for 2 hours.

I did a quick paint over for you:

I mainly focused on changing the colours of the room and not so much changing the room itself. I changed coours of books, walls, rug and some outlines. I also made the mouse hole larger.

Hope I helped.

I got about 25 or so on my own and the rest by looking at the spoilers. Nice test, but discriminatory against people with different thinking patterns.

The server is called "AGS Server" or "AGS Clan Server". It will not be up all of the time and it is in version 1.30

Nice job! :D

Okay, I can get a private server up (thanks to a friend) but the only thing is that it is in version 1.30. I think that most of you probably would have upgraded to 1.32, but this is the best I can do. To find out which version you have, on the title screen push "~" on your keyboard to bring the console down and look in the bottom right.
I will just have to talk to my friend about the name and IP of the server.
Does anyone still want to participate?

I did a paint-over to show a couple points I have on it.

- I added/changed the detail on the door and window
- I played with the pixels on the metal beams holding the canopy thingy up

I think that's about it. You have a great style and I look forward to seeing this in a game.
