Lol funny stuff. Promised myself I'd keep out of this but hey can't resist  ;D

It's always hilarious to see people who have never been through real life-threatening racism (and I'm not talking about being called a cracker at a cafe) talk about how those who are denied health care, education, jobs and their right to life and basic human dignity to "get over it".  I'm not talking about anyone specific, its just in general.

Regarding Skyfire, dude generalizations and stereotypes like yours seriously drag down the average human IQ  :'(.

Sorry can't help myself  ;)......

<off topic>

You know you have been living in SA to long when:
1) You think anybody who walks to the shops down the street after dark is totally nuts.
2) You just can't understand why everybody else in the world calls bukkies trucks.
3) You think its normal to hear Afrikaans on the AGS board  ;D

</off topic>

On a seriouse note I think your bg is really neat Xellie! Great to see another SA AGS user with so much talent.

I'm no pro at this like some people on this site but the ceilling in pic of the room on your site seems a little too high in proportion to the character. Also the mirror seems to be at a very strange angle, like something is behind it (pushing it outwards).

Besides that I like the background -hope you finish the game and that the story and puzzels are as good as the graphics.  ;D

Wow I've been curious about what all those scifi characters and backgrounds posted in the cc would add up too. I like the sound of the story, gonna download the demo right now  ;D

Completed Game Announcements / Re: The Shivah

This game was superb, I really enjoyed Rabbi Stone and his struggel with depression and faith. The whole use of Jewish religon and culture was pretty neat but not to heavy or deep. The atmospehre was not as tense and involving as Bestower of Eternity but since all this was done in one month this is understandable, all in all this game deserves 10/10 on a scal from one to awsome!

Great game, thought I was brave enough but playing it at night with no one but me awake wasn't such a good Idea. I've never been a fan of pharser based games or horror games for that matter but Notes was just briliant! I've downloaded the other games in the series because of it. Yathzee's games have something a lot of games nowadays, with all their fancy graphics, dont have -atmosphere and good intelligent writting! Can't wait for the next game.

No the bar is not the key you have to look at other locations
Spoiler
You can try combining clues and when you get something new try to see what you can get out of characters that you are alreay talking to

Bugs:

I  found some wired bugs, like Indy being able to stand right behind (i.e. his view being blocked by) the drunk Nazi when the later is working on the truck. Also the savegames behave really wired, when I start the demo from the desktop shortcut I cant see any savegames but when I start the game from its directory I get my saved states -also a savegame file is saved to my desktop.

Besides that it was great, nice little "easter egg" by the way.

Thanks for the download link mods, I posted it and am sure that the diggers will appreciate it  ;D Great demo by the way, it's been totally worth the wait -you all did a super job! When I saw this on digg I knew I just had to comment on it! For those interested in what people have been saying so far check out: http://digg.com/gaming/Indiana_Jones_fan_based_game_developed_by_College_Students#c1816080

Congrats to the FoY team, you got the digg effect! There is a link to the demo on the front page of the popular social bookmark site www.digg.com. So far 100+ people have voted for it and it seems the traffic from digg has shut down the Barnet College website! Better get those mirrors up and get ready for a lot of attention  ;)  Hope being featured on a high profile site like digg will not set lucasarts on to your backs, I still wanna see a full game after playing the demo  :(

Maybe you should consider showing the room from another perspective? Its kinda hard to appriciate it with the closet blocking half the view  :(

@.Sklate I think that Cthulhu is a creation of HP Lovecraft (1890-1937) and that there is some confusion (?) about who really ownes the copyrights to his work or if some of it is copyrighted.

Maybe give the nurse some "toys" (whip?) to make her look naughty   ;D

Hrmm just a little technical question. I know that all the titanic true belivers might wanna shoot me for this, but I'm a noob so be nice :D. Can AGS handel a game of this magnitued? I mean 1GB (with the FMVs and all the scenes) worth of game seems a little much, or is it such a powerfull engien?  ???

Hi my name is Greyarea and like everybody else I'm a total adventure addict! I'm twenty-something and still can't stop drooling when I replay the Lucas Arts classics, Simon the Sorcerer and BAS. I hope to contribute to this great community once I've got enough skill not to make a complete fool out of myself in terms of art and music  ;D

 Gotta agree with fovmaster, I really wanna see  a pic of what characters will look like ingame!

Absolutly love everything I've seen about this game so far! Take all the time you need to make this game dude. A delay till about June sounds better then a delay till 2008!  ;)

Wow this game looks great! Cappella, if your story is as good as your grahpics your gonna produce a classic!

The only thing that makes me worry is the interface, I didn't really enjoy most modern 3D adventures because the user interface was ill concived (anyone rember the Westeners?). Could you give us some more details about how you plan to tackel this issue? :)
