I fixed the floor.


The GUI dose look complex but it works well.  You will see when you play the tech demo.

The follow verbs are to make other characters follow you and stop following.  It's a time saver so you can move to characters at the same time.

The verbs Look at, Read and search.

Example:   Theres a wooden crate.   Look at.  The wood has been soaked in some type of chemical.  
Read: Theres a number written on the wood. 9742.
Search:  I should open the crate first.  Or   I can't find any thing.   Or    Oh there was a hole on the side of the crate I found a so and so.  

If done right and in  balance it works great.

The GUI is based off the NES version of Maniac Mansion.   You will se in the game.

Oh and the verbs add some hidden humor. So keep note.

Update 

Here is two new in game screens. I fixed the base and other stuff and put two objects in the glass for the game.

I'm really not sure about the shading on the glass part. Glass is always weird when it comes to light becuse different light reflections.  Convex and concave and such.  I made the glass a transparent object also.

Update

ok I this is the first edit I try to fix the stand and the glass.





Here is the new in game edit.  I moved it all the way over it was in the way when he was walking.

I made the upper base more flat. Almost center of the room. Made the floor base smaller. It was in walking space.  Worked on glass.

What do you think about this gumball machine? Don't worrie about the room it self.  It's from the Maniac Mansion Mania Starter pack.

Does the perspective of the gumball machine look ok in this room?

Thank you ProgZmax.   The once glass and nail road  is starting to smooth out and things are becoming easier.

Thank you for the help.  It looks good now I added one more sprite frame for the end.

I'm tring to make it look more like he is reaching out infront of him. Say to open a door or turn on a light.



It's for a opening doors or using stuff animation.  I think the one I have is ok for lower Objects. But should it look more straight out or up higher.

I'm sorry that I didn't mention I was using AGS 2.72

I allready have alot of import and export int variables.   just wondering can i have up to  500  script GlobalInts with this.

I like using 2.72  right then 3.0 version.  But I just need to make sure  about global variables and what I can do.

Just wondering is there a plugin or mod for 2.72  that will let you have more global int.

Looking in the AGS System limits. What is the Differents from interaction editor global variables  and script GlobalInts.


500  script GlobalInts
100  interaction editor global variables


I use Global Int like   Int PowerOn.  What one would this be or is it allso totally different?

Can you give me some ideas and suggestions. I want to make parts of this intro  interactive with the player.

Hi  Thank you for the help and ideas.  DO you have any other ideas that could improve this intro?

What other face expressions and poses should  Ned, Ed and Dave could do.

Any other types of detail i could add?

Your right. I was thinking the same. 

Im trying to make each character have there own  personality. I need to make Bernard have a more nerdy and sciencetic one.

I still need to proofread  it.  Grammar and spelling errors not intentional. After i finsh the last two seens I'm going to check it and see what i can do to improve the scripted.

Critics' Lounge / New remade Intro for my game

I been working on the new intro for my game. Its still kinda long.  I only have to do 2 more short seens and it will be done.  What do you think of it so far.  It still needs some work and i still need to proofread  it and work on the scripted.

i try to make it more Comical  then before. More interactions between the Characters. I try to make it so the story is more understanding.

Im talk about the angle of the side wall wooden base boards.

It looks ok i will start adding stuff to the room.

I dont think the side wall base board looks right what do you think. To me it looks like the perspective is off.
