Da_Elf,

almost all endings have your animation.

Nostradamus, none of the bugs are show stoppers in version 1.1. I just finished the game without encountering a single bug.

Sirus,
the highest I ever got was 97 Wisdom 100 Honor, 20 cutscenes and 5 side quests  :)

I have a suspicion that the one thing I did too early and it ended up costing me the 3 points I didn't get is the same thing that you missed.

Spoiler
btw, you can trap the barghest and then release him and kill him. Or find the last use it can have. Though, yes, this last one prevents you from completing one major quest.

Yes, the shell just increases your honor and that's it, it has nothing to do with the other quest.
The sorcerer 's apprentice is the girl that walks around in the city or sometimes sits on the docks pondering.

you need to talk to the apprentice and she tells you about the changeling. but she isn't his counterpart. Now when the switcharoo was made, a faery child was brought in the human realm. It should not quite fit with the rest of the humans. When in doubt just look left while you read this.   ;D

The shell can be sold. Or given to someone who in return shows themselves to you.
Oh, and I missed a third use for the horseshoe. It is involved in one of the hardest side-quests, which also involves the rope.

In order to help the changeling, you have to know what he is and find and reveal his counterpart.

The shell: can be used for money or to get an honor point.
The bone you find under the skull is a red herring.
The horseshoe (other than gambling) can be used to trap the barghest, as in the book you can read in the library.

You should be able to create a distraction someplace else, even if you don't have the flute.

You can escape using the rope, but you might want to hold on to it instead. It is much more useful than the vase.

Our first review!
It was an entertaining read, Wellington.

Btw,
Spoiler
the alarm rope is not a red herring, but it's involved in a puzzle to obtain that most-used and abused adventure game inventory item of all times.
Also, the barghest is not always a problem; sometimes it can be used as a solution too ;)

P.S. Grim Fandango is my favorite adventure game of all times.

The rune you find in the goblins' camp can dispell faery magic. Helping Rhiannon is a side quest, by the way.

The thief yells thief. He is also testing to see if the apprentice knows the truth and if she is a potential danger to him.

The jack rabbit? I don't even remember which page I got it from, but it wasn't Durer  ;) Though, yes, pretty much all of the reference pictures I used were google-able... I was hoping it would be more amusing than detracting to sometimes use familiar faces (it was also easier for me to find suitable models in the right poses).

I know there aren't supposed to be any, but is this a dead end?

Spoiler
You don't actually need the rune from the goblin's camp in order to complete the game. Only if you want the maximum number of points

Out of curiosity, where exactly is this wizard's tower?

Spoiler
It is hidden with some magical mist. You need something special to see through the illusion. Also, you need to get wet to get there.
