Free artprogram with painterly style brushes and animation included!, though i havent tried the animation yet.

The programs homepage is here - http://www.squirreldome.com/cyberop.htm
Version 1.2 is the free one and save files as BMP's plus there are trial versions of build 2 and the pro version coming soon

im currently messing about with 1.2 myself and it seems more interesting and customizable than artrage, much less powerful than painter or photoshop but the other later versions may be more impressive,  it will be interesting to see what it can do.

i started work on my website and from past experience i know its stupid to make changes when you have mentally finished the project.  This right now is still a work in progress and far from finished so i  would be interested to know what you think of the design and layoutso far, how it work in various resolutions browsers, and how it could be improved?

upside - the texture and handling of the leaves is really good and reads well, same with the tree trunks - good job

downside - the blue in the background is a very strong colour, usually at night colour is washed out and generally more grey, a lighter blue/grey would help define the trunks from behind and stop your eye being drawn immediately to that striking blue.

The ground definately looks better in the new edit

Gotta love being lazy and using a mirror instead of setting up your cameras auto timer

This one proved a real challenge dont think i captured enough story in either of these two.  The topic  was the first day after the world wide blackout.

My first attempt was where the military had set up luminous cabling powered by generators to direct people with, dont think it read all that well.

so i did another more simple idea

Dragonrose: Thanks, yeh dragons are good.  The sketchy green lines are supposed to be a dragon:P type design on the fabric/suit, guess it reads okay to me but i did that bit very quickly so to everyone else it may looked like i dropped my paint brush.:)

the monkey one? it may remind you off the deep ones but i had to google just now to find out what they were, so i wasnt influenced by it when i was drawing, i found out that the cthulhu world was lovecraft work which i never knew before.

latest one, the topic was conquerer of hell
