OK I played Saw: The Game, and was most amazed by the beginning animation intro. does anyone know of any free programs you can use to make an intro like that? Thanks.

Um, isn't that like, oh, i dunno...what's the word...ILLEGAL?!?! That is called hacking and is morally wrong. The site owner probably pays a lot of money to maintain that site, and here you guys go messing it up.

OK thanks guys, I just wasn't exactly sure how far I could go with it and I think I understand now. Thanks, problem solved.  ;D

Oh and also, if you use a RON template do you have to use any guidelines because I have seen many posts about a RON SERIES and things like that and they are all similar, so I was not totally sure if it was bad to make a game completely and totally different from the RON games previously made.

Hi, I didn't think this really belonged in the technical forum so I'll just ask in here. Anyway, I am a really bad graphics editor, and found a lot of pre-made resources for use in a game, but I was wondering if using resources such as the RON pack or insta-game or using stuff like that would demean you, in short, what sort of pre-made resources is frowned upon if used? Thanks, just curious.

yeah, I got it now. My internet was down for a while so I just started randomly trying things, and I got to putting the return thing at the end. Thanks for the help, though.

This is my current dialog script:

// dialog script file
@S  // dialog startup entry point
narrator: Welcome to the LEon system database. What would you like to research?
@1  // option 1
narrator: Welcome to the LEon system database. What would you like to research?
@2  // option 2
@3  // option 3
@4  // option 4
@5  // option 5
@6  // option 6
@7  // option 7
@8  // option 8
@9  // option 9
@10  // option 10
narrator: thank you for using the LEon system database.
stop

But when I load the game to test it, it displays the message "Welcome to the LEon system database. What would you like to research?" then, "Thank you for using the LEon system database." and the dialoge ends. I have no idea what else I need to put in here except my script, someone please tell me what I am doing wrong!!!

OK I have not too long ago made a post asking for help, and an op told me to go here. I am looking for a team to assist me in the production of a game I plan to make. The game will be based upon a book series, http://www.powells.com/cgi-bin/biblio?inkey=62-0689857969-0 go there to read about one in the series, as that one will be one of the main ones that will be followed. if you are not into this kind of thing or find it boring or not worth your time, please just hesitate to tell me, as I obviously do not. If you would like to join my team, please first have an understanding of the series at least at a moderate level and if not, research the stories a bit. I myself have all the ideas and themes for the game written out, I just need some graphics help. I preferably would like people, though, who have read more than one of the books and is open to the possibilities of making this work. I plan to merge the books together and modify the plots a little for a more adventure-game suitable setting. If you can help out, please pm me, don't reply here, as I will no longer read this post after I have posted it here. I have not at all really given the full story details as I plan to make this a full-length game, and so if these borderlines seem of interest to you, please please please work with me to make this a great game! I'll pm you back the full game info.

I am in the process of designing a game which I will not uncover until my final metamorphosis stage, but have stumbled upon a problem; I have nothing but cruddy work and would really appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to make a template for use in my game. I will provide a credit to that person at the beginning and end of the game, but please, I really need help with this project. I need a reasonable set of rooms, they should look like a dark forest and a mansion, and if that is not possible, and it probably isn't, for what I will need to do to modify each one, but if at all possible please. I also need a few male and female characters, somewhere around adolescent age, and a few different male adults, a couple female adults. Lastly, I really need a good looking GUI set, the "Beneath the Steel sky" template would have worked, but that version was v.1.1 not 2.27, my current version. Just anything that looks cool, and if you can help out, please do so.

Thanks a lot for your time, and happy game-creation!
