I liked how the police came and arrested the guy who lived across from the construction site.

Very special. The writing in reminiscent of a children's book or something. The drawings are great.

Hi!

I'm HolyJack. I got into Adventure games when I was a kid with a very old computer. The game I ever finished was Monkey Island. My love for Adventures (mostly lucasarts, never got into Sierra) has persisted, and a year or so ago I stumbled onto this site. I'm trying to learn AGS but I have never been very good at programming or drawing, so my games rarely work the way I want them too. However, the biggest reason I'm here is not to flood you with crappy games. I simply adore playing all the amazing games the people on here create so I decided to join the forums to be able to comment and connect with all the talented game-makers in here.

Wow! This game looks fantastic. I love the style.
Can't wait to play it.
But the story sounds alot like Trilby's Notes.

Hi!

I'm just starting out with AGS and I have a problem with my test game.

I have a NPC standing in a room, and I what I want to do is to start up a dialog with him and
when I select a certain dialog option (enabled only when EGO has a certain item in his inventory), I want the NPC to speak a line, move and then exit the room.

However I'm having problems. When I try to do this, no matter how I try to do it, the NPC ends up exiting the room before the dialog has finished.

What should I do?
