I love Anime or Manga style eyes, yes. But little dots for eyes is ALSO a manga style. E.G. Paper Mario, or any of a dozen Chibi Variations.

I like your ID photo better than your sprites. DID you do it yourself? But yeah she's cure... and I don't agree with Domino about the eyes.

Hey, Rubacant. This place is where you put stuff to be critiqued. It's (in my oppinion) harsh sometimes, but it's better than never improving. Here's an idea. This is only one costume, I'm going through the trouble of multiple costumes...

Love the 3D but the texturing needs work... But ANYTHING 3d I find impressive, simply because it's complicated 2 do.

Unfortunately my worse fear happened, it is a boy... That's what I get for applying manga guidelines to pixel art. See Manga has a style of big watery eyes on young male char. He's portrayed to be about twelve. An unlikely hero. The bald head, was purposely to de-feminise him. I will have to see about altering him slightly. And the reason his hand is shorter on the right is it's resting on his hip...Classic manga postures... He's supposed to be urchin-like underfed looking. Hence the shabby clothes but does the technique seem alright?  I have reviewed some art stuff and decided to go ahead with this design, thanks for the critique, but his gender will become apparent during the story... and in the cutscenes and larger handdrawn shots...Thanks All.

So it needs more definition, and arguably work on perspective... Hmm... I like the grain but I think I overdid it. Work on a clearer edge, less of a brushstroke feel... Thanks this has been helpful...

I've written a palette converter tool, for personal use, I was wondering if anyone has already done this? Specifically it takes a 1-255 RGB value and returns the AGS RGB values for that color... Would that be useful to anyone... I also had plans to expand it so that it can edit ags .pal. If anyone is interested in this, I'll work on it... As it is, it isn't very pretty GUI wise, just the standard windows color selector interface...
