I am aware of the Quest for glory NWN modual created by Mike Kiscaden. In fact I have gotten in contact with him and he gave me permission to use some of the custom content he created when making my modual. He is actually looking forward to seeing my modual when it is finished. The marrowind version looks very good so far. I've only seen screenshots of it so far though. I guess the person working on the Marrowind version like the idea of making the games available for people to play again (after a fashion) Just the same as me. I know my modual wont be exactly the same as the origional but I just want to try and keep it around for others to enjoy. I know lots of you love these style games the way they were and in truth I really miss them myself. I Actually managed to buy Simon the Sorcerer 1 and two a few years ago. There still just as much fun as I remember.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'll try and get the originals off ebay. I have actually played Quest for Glory 1-4 before, but that was about 10 years ago and they belonged to a friend of mine. I've moved a few thousand miles away from where he is 9 years ago and have long since lost contact with him so that doesn't help. I've been studying walkthroughs online to help remind me how it goes. I still think with the right scripting and custom content it can be done. I'll just have to wait untill I can manage to buy the originals before I can really get to work on it.

Thanks.

Hi everyone.

I have been browsing the net looking up about the old Quest for glory series and found my way here. I think it's fantastic that people can now make there own games like the clasic 2D adventure games I loved growing up. I have downloaded the AGS and I'm having fun with it so far. I noticed some sites that wanted Quest for Glory to be continued, and some others where fans are trying to remake it. I know everyone here is very devoted to the classic 2D adventure style game but I thought I'd ask anyway. Knowing that there are lots of fans of this series besides me out there has inspired me to try and make a 3D version using the Neverwinter Nights Toolset. Thing is, I dont actually own any of the original games so I'm relying on what I can find online.

I want to make it as close to the original in appearance as I can. "just with another dimension added  ;D". I've been trying to find screenshots online but there simply aren't enough. I want to make every monster and character in the series look as close as possible to the originals. I just dont know what all the originals look like. So if there are any members of this forum out there who have any of the games and would be interested in helping me out with a few screenshots, I'd be very greatful.

Thanks.
