Hello there AGS forums! How have you been?

I was pretty surprised to see my "news" article show up on Ebert's site.

A couple things I'd like to very briefly point out that I don't think were conveyed in the excerpt Ebert quoted are that story is not a necessity for artistic merit in games (whereas it seems to me that Ebert assumes it is) and that Ebert uses a lack of prior examples (to his knowledge anyway) as proof that games don't have a certain POTENTIAL, which seems like a flawed argument from the beginning to me.

Geez, who the hell cares what kind of computers people use?  Mac users make up some 2% of the market share, why bother deriding their machines?  Your precious PCs are hardly being threatened...

Trashiest film??  Confusion!  The movie is incredibly slick and extraodinarily clever.  Also well-written, well-directed, and well-acted.

This doesn't really seem all that necessary to me.

I saw this film at the US premiere back in July and it was surely one of the best films I've seen this year.  It's a faithful zombie movie but also a great zombie movie.  If you like Spaced, you'll surely like this.  If you like zombie movies, you'll surely like this.  If you like movies that don't suck, see it.

Clearly it's been irrevocably burned into your subconscious.  I think we've all been there.

Mayhew is renowned for being a first-class asshole.  I guess he's just bitter about playing the part of a big rug being his sole life achievement.

Wow, I haven't been to Orkut in months, and out of the blue I get a friend request from Felipe.  Crazy stuff!

Shift-Ctrl-Z does multiple undoes in PS7!?

Well, they'd surely issue a cease and desist before going out and suing someone who probably can't cough up that much money for them anyway.

Hey man, it's just one of life's glorious mysteries.  Ya gotta have faith.

Try typing "adventure game" into Google and clicking the "I'm Feeling Lucky Button." Heh.

However, doing "adventure games" makes me sad.

A friend of mine called me "remixor" one time in jest back in high school, as a sort of leet version of my last name "Remo" alluding to the electronic music I used to create back in those days. Ã, When I needed a new AIM name because my old one had proved way too long and hard for people to remember, I just used the name.

To the people who thought I was someperson: I don't fit any of those criteria.

Well, like I said, most of it is what I'd expect from a rep in that situation, but what really surprises me is that he laughed and gave a surprised reaction asking about Sierra being shut down.  His response almost implies that Sierra WASN'T shut down and the proposition that it was is hilarious, but the studio was clearly closed months ago.

I blame Geoffkhan personally for any faults in the style of prose.  HA!

It really annoyed me that every member of the party wrote in the exact same style, even down to abbreviating "very" with "v.".

I think it's silly to say something like "deaths are part of what makes adventure games".Ã,  That's just part of how games were by a certain company (and some of their designers, such as Al Lowe, thought the deaths were annoying and was vocal about his wish to decrease them).Ã,  If you enjoy it, great, but it's perfectly understandable why someone else wouldn't.
