I'm left-handed.  I hold the mouse in my right-hand and do not invert the buttons.

Hints & Tips / KQ3 Remake - Medusa

Hi. I'm playing the fabulous remake of King's Quest III

Ok, So i have the hand mirror. I go to the dessert ready to use it, but the instant Medusa appears, I loose control of the game and die before I can show it to her. I have tried clicking the mirror onto myself before she appears, "using" the mirror. All to no effect. What am I doing wrong here?

I'm a fan of the Sierra icon bar.

Ok. I have re-hosted them in photobucket as my website was being too unreliable.
(Now that they're finally up I hope you guys weren't expecting the mona lisa ;) I'm a programmer, not an artist.)

I do intend to replace the standard "roger" view, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Adam Collings (Tamar Productions) is proud to announce:

The Garry Church Chronicles I - Flight 247
The Story:

Garry Church is a retired, widowed detective. He is taking a trip to Thorat II to visit his son and meet his new grandchild.  What he expects to be a simple relaxing space cruise turns into a real mystery when he is contacted by an old friend. Soon Garry will face murder, hijackings and strange life-forms. In order to save his life, and that of everybody on the ship, he will have to get to the truth.

The game will be primarily story-driven, but there will still be plenty of puzzles and room for exploration.

I have been working on the game a lot lately. Things are progressing well.

Several important story advancement points of the game have been programmed this weekend.

I have made a new view so now Garry doesn't look like Roger Wilco anymore. Now that I've got that done I can get back to writing scripts and dialog :)

Hello. I'm working on my first AGS game.

I am wondering if it is possible to declare global variables that will retain their values between rooms. I have searched the manual and BFAQ and have only found reference to pre-defined globals.

I want to use a boolean flag, which is set in one room, and checked in another.
I have tried declaring my boolean in the globalscript.acs file, and even tried preceeding it with "global",  but it appears to be out of scope when I try to access it from a room.

Is there something simple I am missing? Any assistance appreciated.
