Has this game been beta-tested?

I've come across numerous bugs.

Also the text clearly hasn't been proofread - they're are far too many spelling mistakes to list here.

Nice backgrounds, but the RON characters really don't work in this setting.

And the game is supposed to be set in Ireland, right? Well, it's the strangest version of Ireland I've ever seen and I live there!

The game crashed for me in exactly the same place as for paoul.

Looks fine, but you might want to do something about the possibility of repeatedly using the laxatives by preventing their use until actually Jimmy needs to get rid of a certain character.

Thanks, amanta4ray,

But the

feather is definitely not under the nest (and I'm playing as Debbie) - I've even checked the scene with a magnifying glass!

Great and thoroughly absorbing game!

I've had to resort to the walkthrough and, for the life of me, can't find the

brown feather near the owl - I didn't pick up the one earlier in Concordia.

When Carol's in the kitchen it's still possible to 'phone her at reception.

Also, you seem to have a static cupboard, stapler and calculator. They should all be 'stationery'!

Walk all the way back to Marilyn, give her the grapes and walk all the way back. Be prepared for a very disappointing ending.

Yep, I'd thought as much, but just couldn't hit the right pixel!

Spoiler
Now I've managed to enter the caves and found a second star stone, but seen neither hair nor hide of the much-needed map. And is the moon rock in Nodha or is that found later?

Thanks, Arj0n, but I'm clearly even further behind!

Spoiler
I haven't yet found a frame for the clover. Any hints regarding that would be very welcome.

I've been wandering around for ages and still can't find

I've just downloaded the 'final version'.

I guess I just might have been too optimistic in hoping that the game was now clear of the majority of spelling and grammatical errors. Sorry to say, but I gave up after the first two scenes as the number of remaining errors still operates as a deterrent against further exploration, and that awful blue font against blue background (in the conversation with the brigands) is still present.

Here are a couple of other points.

Outside the castle (which is spelt 'Kriegson' or 'Krigson' in various places!) there's a rock. Moving the cursor over this identifies it as 'Hotspot 5' and clicking on it produces the cryptic response 'gi23 - %'.

Also Trevor asserts that the animal found in the sewer pipe is a rat, but the inventory claims it is a mouse.

Sorry to be picky, but this game would really benefit from more thorough beta-testing before being posted here.

This is rather an impressive game, featuring attractive backgrounds and music, but unfortunately marred by three factors.

Firstly, there are innumerable spelling mistakes, many of which should have been spotted by a decent beta-tester.

Next, some of the conversational text is made almost illegible by utilising a blue font against a blue background.

Finally, there's a lack of logical coherence. It isn't exactly clear to me, as a player, what I am supposed to be doing other than acquiring the fabled dagger.

Chapter 3 has four distinct areas, three of which need to be explored fully.

The first is the initial garden area, but this only supplies atmosphere. The second is the garden maze. Taking the path into this leads to the sundial from which there are three other possible exits. Explore all of these areas.

Spoiler
The plaque by the fishpond provides a major clue as to how to escape the gardens.

Spoiler
An object essential for Chapter 4 is found in the area south of the sundial.

Spoiler
East of the sundial you can experiment with certain fruits (I hope you took note of one of the books in the library), find a shortcut help and encounter a major hindrance to onward progress, if you arrive too late.

I got so damned fed up traipsing around searching for this blooming key (if there is one) that I've PM'd the author help. He hasn't mailed me yet, but I'll report back when he does so.

It took me a while to find the passageway. It's not hidden, but just make sure that you explore the room south of the library completely and you'll spot the exit.

The lantern is not used in Chapter 1.

The tiles are placed in an obvious order, though you might want to look up the Wikipedia entry on the subject of 'zodiac' to help you.

Does anybody know where the key for the exit is in Chapter 2? I seem to have been wandering around all four segments of the dungeon for hours, but still not found it.
