A game I'm making as a christmas present for my girlfriend. A few years ago I made: Aidas strange christmas, for her and this is the sequel.

Hopefully it should be finished for christmas.

The Story:

Aida, after saving christmas, was returned home and tried to live her life in peace. Though, one day a shadow drags her back through time and space. Not to Santaland this time, but someplace much darker.

About the game:

- Meet the amazing main character Aida again!
- Return to another twisted holiday world.
- Open ended gameplay with different paths you can finish in your own way.
- Dark humour.
- An alchemist-mechanic where you collect ingredients and combine them.
- Classic point-and-click style of gameplay.
- Gore (in the spirit of halloween.)
- About 4-5 hours of gameplay.

The second wolverbogg:

Spoiler
If you stay in the dark the wolverbogg won't attack you. Keep to the dark all the way to the other side of the room. Then quickly walk close to the machine, press it and walk back to the shadows. If you're fast enough the wolverbogg will just go back to sleep.

Hope that helps. :)

Thanks for playing the game.  :)

In the cave:

Spoiler
After you've tied the plants to the rocks you have created a part of a trap. Search around and you can find something dangerous someone can fall on after tripping on the plants.

Spoiler
Then remove the darkness with something you have that can create light and then crawl through.

Stables - Wolverboggs:

Spoiler
When you have to club the wolverboggs. Go and talk to Valkyria that you're supposed to protect. That is all.

Fun MAGS rules this month.

I finished an old christmas present I gave to my girlfriend last christmas, that I totally stressed out before it was done. But she was happy about it, and she damned well should be considering how much time I've put into it.

So now it's completely finished, and uploaded. Enjoy the only christmas game published in the summer.
It's kind of long, depending on how much you complete and which ending you get.

Aidas Strange Christmas

This is a game I made for my girlfriend (yes I have one and still make games) for Christmas 2009.

I originally started developing it for 2008s Christmas, but didn't finish it in time. I got a little over ambitious, but managed to have it ready for 2009. She liked it, though, because she is a gamer she found some buggs and I wasn't completely happy about all the music in the game. So I decided to fix those things and has now uploaded it here. I mean, if my girlfriend likes it then everyone else also must like it.
Her taste is impeccable, I mean, she likes me, right?

A little off-season but what the heck.
Everyone misses winter in the summer, right?

The Story:

It's christmas eve and Aida is meeting her boyfriend outside the local cinema, though he doesn't show up. So she first smokes a cigarette and then decides to go and search for him. This takes her on a journey through time and space, all the while not learning any cheesy christmas lesson.

About the game:

- Meet the amazing main character Aida!
- Two different endings.
- Open ended gameplay with different paths you can finish in your own way.
- Moderatly funny dialogue.
- Bizarre minigames.
- Classic point-and-click style of gameplay.
- Gore (Of course, but not too much. It is a christmas game after all.)
- Learn of swedish christmas traditions. (No elfs or other americanish styled christmas characters.)
- A game made out of love for another person (quite freaky if you ask me).
- About 5-6 hours of gameplay.

Baltazar:

That explains I'm at a dead end..
Spoiler
You can use the runes on the panel but not get them back... So I used them already and never got one to use on the hatch
[close]

Furthermore: the cursor changes to the move icon when you want to use something in the inventory.

And how do I get the fourth rune? I can't figure out how the levitation works. I can just drag it with me for a very short time...

Yeah, I've uploaded a new version on my gamespage where you can get the runes back again (Avoiding the dead-end.) and skip the intro.

The cursor going back to walk-icon in the inventory is actually supposed to be like that because I found it easier to choose inventory objects with walk-icon than Baltazars freaky lump of a hand-icon.

Fourth rune
Spoiler
When you get the Mechanoid (Floating robot) you can choose to use him through your inventory. Pick the mechanoid-inventory and put it on the vase in the middle and he goes there to get it for you. And there's the last rune.

Spoiler
How do I get the rat out of its cage? How do I activate/repair the two fuses?
[close]

Spoiler
Throw one of the runes at the second hatch that jams. Make flame with the ignition and fuel elixir from the table and use on the vial of blu liquid that attracts heat. Then the rat can go through the glasstunnel and release the last rune.

I tried downloading it and it seemed to work fine (Or well, Oh, the wit)
You could always try to download the other version of the game if you look at my games page. The only difference is a screen in the outro.
So you wouldn't really miss out on anything.

I couldn't resist...

Here's the MAGS-version of:

I'm not crazy, right? - The Well
(The only difference is actually the outro, but what a great outro it is.)

It's my favorite kind of evilness, a passive aggresive sociopath.
Mmm.. Enjoy.

If interested: a review can be found here, a walkthrough is here.

Thanks for the good review and walkthrough.  :D

There was a few things that I didn't have time to finish that probably show. Like that glowing orb was supposed to be interactive and the yellow panel too. And a minor action sequens (If you played the game you'll probably know where.) It was even supposed to have two endings. Another one secret that would explain a bit more.
Oh well.. That's the price to pay when you're too ambitious.  :P

Aah, the sweet taste of victory...  8)

Too bad there was no other entries.
But then again, perhaps I wouldn't have won then.  ;)

Here's the screenshoot for the game. Sorry about the delay.  :P

Sorry about the late entrance. Here it is anyhow.  :)

I'm not crazy, right - The Cell

PS: I didn't have time to upload a screenshoot. Hopefully. Noone will mind and play the game anyway.

Fun Fact 2: It's also my first game.
