Well.. unlike Bernard, I want this guy to just be slightly nerdy... Bernard is pretty full fledged, president and only member of the chess club kinda nerdy.

Thanks, I was a bit worried you might be offended that I was toying around with your characters.

Actually, I have several templates for base sprites, so adding on new features and and the like is not very time consuming.

The Heir To No Throne.

I think this might be it!... any other suggestions?

So, here is a cheesy game concept, about a group of high school kids who find out their principal is a vampire.

I am trying to make a little bit better game than Laundry Day before I jump head first into The Lost Prince Saga, I don't want to get ahead of myself.

But I feel like while trying to make the slightly nerdy main character, I have made him look more like an Asian tourist than a nerdy high school kid.

So... uhm... yeah... any help is appreciated.

I think maybe you might want to flesh out this one, but you can always save that for later.... Start with sequels and go back later and retouch the ones that you already made.

All in all it really captured my imagination... I definitely would like to see more.

I think it could use some expanded... It was entertaining... the graphics and music really created an atmosphere, I was a little worried for the little kid.

Some of the puzzles could of made more sense, or bear more explanation... but I don't want to go into detail as to not spoil anything.

Can I download without logging onto that site?

Okay, it's added to the games database.

Thanks for all the feedback.

Just to add my two cents, I find that I am more likely to play games that have graphics similar to the games I loved in the 90's... Nostalgia goes a long way for me.

Also I am more likely to play games with a fantasy theme, because I am a nerd.

What I am saying is it really is a crap shoot, but regardless of what game you make, it might be the perfect thing for someone, someone is wanting just this certian perfect game made that they enjoy for whatever reasons.

And it's not always about graphics, or having  a high rating. 6 day assassin is still one of my all time favorite AGS games, and it only has a two view walk cycle.

Really nice game!  I love these short and sweet games, because if I ever have 30-60 minutes free and feel like playing a game, I can feel like I really accomplished something.  As the first guy said though, those dorm rooms are the best ever, so HUGE!  Never seen one even close to that size.

The puzzles were near perfect in my opinion.  Some were a little tired (how 2 open the neigbors door) but it worked as a whole package.  My favorite was how 2 get the code, and what it's for.

Thanks! your compliments are all that is fueling me.

I understand that, I was simply saying I was not making them, I just found free ones of both. I am not selling anything... not untill my games get better.

Alone in the Dark. WHY DID YOU WALK SO SLOWLY, CARNBY?!
There is a button that makes him run.

To make Carnby Run in Alone in the dark you had to tap forward twice really quickly... not always easy.. and when something was coming after you about to kill you it was even easier to mess it up.

Alone in the Dark = Best game ever = FTW.

Well.. I am actually using creative commons mp3's or free use midis, there are good files in both.

I am not making my own of either... because I am lazy.

I just know Laundry Day had an increase of size by at least 100% because I included MP3 music instead of midi.

I am curious what the thoughts and feelings are of the people on this board, would you rather have higher quality music and a bigger download, or would you rather have Midi files and have a smaller download?

Just curious on what the general opinion is on mp3 music.

I like everything you did except the glasses... I never got the impression Carnby wore glasses...

Edit:

Hey ProgZmax, thanks a lot man... my sprites are coming out way better now.
