Run Hot is out!?!? No WAAAAY!!! Is it totally ace!!! I hope so! Man, I couldn't wait to play that!!!

Also - Helm came out of the closet? No WAAAAY! Good for him (unless this is a cunning ruse to spread gossip)

No more Yahtzee games though? *SAD FACE* I was pretty rough on him back when he left first time roud, but the gentleman-thief game was brilliant. Everyone in my office watches his reviews fanatically - very impressive!

This game looks EXACTLY like what I want to make!

Please, can you let me know how you're doing it? How does your engine work?

I guess there's set positions on screen for every possible wall position - then you work out what walls need to appear and what they look like? Do you have a way of interpreting a txt file map into the game environment?

Please, if you could help me make a similar Dungeon-Master-like engine I would be your friend for life! I have always ALWAYS wanted to make a game of this genre!

I have forgotten my password. And 2007 you say? I don't remember coming back then - but I guess I might've...

Also - what game pesty?

thankyou Fuzzpilz! You're very kind :)

So - what awesome stuff's been going on since last time I was here? Does everyone look at the zeropunctuation reviews and say "I remember that guy!"?

Is m0ds still about making everyone's game music?

what's the biggest name game to come out on here since 2005 (or, aparently, 2007)

It's very nice to be welcomed back! Especially since my game is on a hate list (although presumably you quite like the VPETs? Thankyou Exceedingly for hosting them :D)

I don't understand the re-setting the timer thing :S

Anyway, no plans for a new Richard Longhurst game. And if I did make one, I'd make it much better than the first one.

Actually, I did at one point get Phil to agree to let me do an RichardLonghurst/LarryVales crossover game. Alas, I never finished the game. It would've been a bit weird though.  Never mind.

But I've recently decided to try and come back to AGS. I'm a working man now so wont have as much time as I used to. But none the less, if I don't TRY and get back in the game-making sadle, I'll never succeed.

Anyway, I thought I'd post here on the general forum to see if anyone's about that I remember from a few years ago when I was hanging around last time! :D

Also - I noticed that you can't download Vegetable Patch Extreem Turbo from anywhere more! What a crime!

Hello

it's been a very very long time since I used AGS. but I wondered if, since last time I was here, anyone has used AGS to make a Dungeon Master style game.

Essentially, I'd like to realise my dream of making a grid based first person dungeon crawler and I'm SURE it can be done in AGS. However, before I started to try and do it myself from scratch, I thought I'd find out if anyone has attempted or, better yet, succeeded in making something like this.
