Er, i'll sign up too but I have no idea whether or not i'll actually be working. If I am it'll have to be a Mittens-only year again.

I've dabbled with MMF before and I'm always amazed when i see someone actually make something that breaks free of all the niggling stupidities the program has when trying to make games with it. Awesome stuff so far, it must have taken a lot of effort to get to the point it's currently at (parallax scrolling must have been a nightmare).

Doesn't Ratzinger sound like the name of the villain in a 1980s children cartoon?

What Yufster said, but with less amplitude and sarcasm. I've tried looking at this from every angle but all I can see is another old man holding back a proportion of the human race. Oh well.

2 No, you're probably thinking of the film about Daedalus the labrynth he constructed. Beware the Minotaur.

Sorta accurate me. This thing even predicts what i'll look like in August:

Did anyone ever see the "Sex and the Holy City" documentry?

The passing away of the Pope has no relevence to my life really, I guess there's just one less powerful person that holds strong prejudice around.

Puppets and animatronics will always, always be more awesome than CGI.

(Yes, that comment appears to have come out of nowhere but I swear there's a tenuous link with the last post! Honest!)

I disagree that the reasons the previous two Star Wars films are bad is due to the 'magic' being lost or whatever. They're just terrible films, rotten to the core - the concepts and writing are awful. At least the first three were well written and well produced no matter what your opinions are about the direction and effects.

As for the 'everything will make sense with the third film' argument, that one was being used by the Matrix fans and Revolutions turned out to be a steaming pile of horse refuse.

The sort answer, yes. How many people who browse this forum have multi-region hacked their DVD players, I wonder?
#313
If this technology took off it wouldn't take long for the hackers to circulate firmware updates that'd disable it, or something along those lines.

So basically, what it comes down to is: Macs are horrible, over-complicated, messy pieces of machinery intended only for simpleton's, fanboys, and production companies..

I think you should re-word your post, unless you want to sound like a silly person regurgatating the words of the "we hate macs for no good reason" sheep-parade :=

I don't get a spring break, I get a convenient three weeks without any lectures to catch up on a mountain of volatile coursework. It does however mean I get to spend some quality time with my girlfriend, which is always a positive thing.

QuoteThis is pretty unfair
Unfortuantly lots of things are unfair when you're a minor, but that's life. If something happened to an under-18 year old at one of these events the organiser would be held responsable, and i'm sure whoever took on the burden of organising this would find such a scenerio rather undesirable. It's nothing personal, just the way the laws are written.

I'd realistically be able to attend a european gathering, and I'd be very up for it. I'd perhaps need a couple of months warning as I'll be working from June onwards and would need to sort out time off and tickets and stuff, but I couldn't miss out on meeting you guys again, whether it's Greece or Sweeden.

It'd be somewhat nostalgic to hold it at the ol' mittens cabin again too!

Pablo: The age limit is set at 18 for good reasons, sorry dude. Would your parents be wild at the idea of letting you fly alone to another country to meet people off the internet at the age of 15? Mine wouldn't have been.

Since when were there two discussions going on in here? And if you're going to ask rediculous questions and don't want to grasp the simple 'no' answer then you should expect people to point out exactly why such a thing isn't possible. No need to be an arse about it.
