Theres any other kind?

Well I have recently noticed a behavior pattern within myself.

I have a tendency to practice magic tricks & AGS at the same time. This normally takes a back seat when I start sketching again, or get to consumed into my work.

I just noticed that I when I started getting more active again loading up AGS etc. I was playing with my deck of cards that was in the drawer for over 4 months now... (Playing = magic tricks) anyway that was cool & concerning at the same time. (What made me pull the cards from the drawer??!!)

Am I just freakish or do you guys have similar patterns?

I agree with trying to slightly improve the graphics even if its just by 5% or so.

Geez loominous, WOW.

Thanks, your infinite knowledge is appreciated! Now I need to go ad re-read the post.

Edit:

I never actually learnt about lighting, (self taught :P ) but the way you explained it was awesome. Thanks. Just one question, the bouncing balls as you put it do they bounce in the initial direction (linear)that the light hits or do they scatter in a radius?

Well I have had many ideas many half made games... (sadly)  :'( my general problem is that I get bored and secondly I want to create this perfect 20/10 game that will take over the world while I sleep ;)

I have written many scripts and while I thought maybe to one day just give them to someone and say HERE make it if you like it, I feel that it is still my responsibility to complete them  :-\

Well I need to work this into my schedule, and start finishing up my games. I think some sort of co assistant program will do well, where you interact and bounce ideas with someone and show them your progress. I found that when I spoke t Buloght on a daily basis I completed more sprites and backgrounds and actually scripted some of my game :) (Jonathan Crest) Cause I wanted to show him more progress when we spoke the next day.

Well I wonder if we should make a buddy system to help inspire the lazy ones, such as I. ;)

Ok I searched for Bob Goes Home Deluxe. Somehow it slipped through the woodwork & I never got to play it. The links in the download section don't work anymore.  Anyway anybody know where I can get it?

I found Bob Goes Home http://aafiles.bicycle-for-slugs.org/full/Bob%20Goes%20Home.rar I dont think thats the deluxe though.

Thanks.

Ok skin me alive for digging this up. There was like 5% of scripting left, what happened?

Edit : *Slaps Forehead* Never mind I just woke up and need coffee.

The cheeks seem to be denting into the face, move the eyes inner and just draw the bottom of the nose. Use a more varied pallet and less colors. I wouldn't be afraid of using red in the mouth remember kids relate to bright colors so the best advice I can give you at the moment is to Google some images along the lines of "toons" + "sun" or "cartoon" + "sun"

The face to me feels to "stiff" & posed at the moment. After looking at some cartoon expressions in general (from the Google results) try and spot easier ways of drawing the face. (It doesn't need to be sun cartoon pictures it can be normal cartoon character pictures too all you want is reference)

Lastly I should of mentioned this sooner, when you choose your more varied pallet use the darker yellow (as you have around the sun now) for the main features, if it doesn't look good with the line art only it won't look good colored.

I wish you success with your game! The sprites look awesome so far.
