Messages - Akatosh

Yeah, that's a bug indeed...

Spoiler

You can only take the tool apart if it's fully assembled - that is, pipe, wire and magnet... but I'll fix it. That shouldn't be too hard  ;)

Maybe somebody had a dodgy internet connection and STARTED the download loads of times.

Like 20,000 times? Boy, this guy sure has patience.

Completed Game Announcements / Re: Pixel Hunt

Innovative, I do say.

I'll have to kill you for making the mags competition pretty much pointless, though ;)

(If anybody takes these posts serious, that is)

My twisted mind already spat something out... although it's probably not what you'd expect.

 :D

I don't think I have anything else to say than that. Thanks a lot, people!

The winner this time is the game named "Washed Ashore" created by Akatosh in his very unique style!

Thanks for your support, people!  :)

 ::)

Nothing more to say about this.

/EDIT: Well, in this case, it's probably slightly different... still, bumping after two years DOES qualify this thread for a "::)" smiley.
#1028
Same here. Sometimes it takes two or three tries, but it's not more than a minor annoyance.
#1029
Since I've finished my entry just-in-time, I'll give yours a go now. Let's see what you#ve got.  :)

A game for this month's mAGS, and I'm still a comfortable 3.5 hours away from the dealine! Go me!  :=

You play as the german Zeppelin commander Wilhelm von Hadenberg, and... damn, play for yourself! Now with 500% more clichés about Imperial Germany than the next leading brand.

Game is around 1.1 MB of size. It's played like every other adventure these days, with some exceptions, but these are answered in a text document that's supplied with the download.

Downloady!

/EDIT:

Now with extra much contest winning! Accept no substitutes!
#1031
Okay, so I was wrong. Here it is, anyway!  ;D

Downloady!

The game shouldn't take you too long to complete. No idea *how* long, though. Personally, it take me around 1 - 2 minutes  :=

And cats, as seen in a Simpsons episode!

Sounds quite cool... but you might want to save your screenshots as .png files instead of .jpg...

(I know I say this a LOT  ;))

* Akatosh notices the deadline and redoubles his efforts

Why do I always start working only when I'm on a tight schedule? Damnit!

/EDIT: Also, I'm running low on synonyms for trash. I've used "debris", "scrap", "rubbish"...

There's a free trial for Flash 8. It does notice when you turn back the clock of your PC, though (not that I tried that, of course!), but with some fantasy, it's quite possible to work your way around it. Or so I heard.
#1038
You probably meant

Code: ags

SetBackgroundFrame(GetBackgroundFrame()+1);

instead of what you've got now.
#1039
I slack around until something else bores me more than continuing to work. Doesn't make me very fast, but it works.  ;D

Small character (or object capable of mobility) with full conversation who you carry around in your inventory, the character makes witty comments and occasionaly escapes so you have to chase him down and capture him again.

In my mAGS game in development. Sorta.
