"Invalid Quickkey. This error has been forwarded to MediaFire's development team." for three of the downloads  :'(

Judging by the average AGS related magazine, it's one-issue. Although I hope this one stays alive longer than the AGS Bulletin, Crapgaming Weekly, Extreme Gamedesign and what they all were called.

You know, according to the Green Party (and other hippies) global warming caused all that hailing. Somehow.

Okay...

Spoiler

You'll need to find out what floor level Herbert (was it Herbert? That pickle) went to. Hm... if you could only find a list of floor level symbols and their respective meanings... when you find one, be sure to use the thought on it.

When you find that level, be informed it's not a pixel hunt. Just throughly explore the area... which has nothing to do with a pixel hunt.

Also, I didn't think people were still playing that game!

Sounds quite useful. It would have been cool to get more of a documentation, but I should be able to chew my way through  ;)

... is it a bad sign that I posted in both of these topics?

Beginners' Technical Questions / Re: AI Games

Really simple AIs as in Diablo should be easy enough to script, but I'd advise you to grab the CCS plugin first - it makes things a lot easier.

Okay then...

Next: SHINY THING  :o!

Oh, that changes everything of course. Don't worry, if no-one enters, there'll probably be a Me Go Funfair!  ;)

Taking most things said into regard...

I haven't changed the dome and the sky because the player isn't likely to see that at all - I only added it to begin with because it looks weird to have a chopped-off background ;)

Radio Revenga now belongs to the rich part of the city, although it's a little dirtier than the bank.

The rich part is now clearly seperated from the slums.

So, I hope you like it, and thanks for the advice!  :)

I've spent several hours trying to get the most important city of my current game looking... well... "fitting". I'd like some comments and critics now. You can see the background here; beware, it's rather big. I like the hard difference between the crafted marmor bank and the cracked run-down bunkhouse (hope it's recognisable), as well as the propaganda advertisement, but I'd like to hear your opinion on this, too.

Heh. What happened to that comic, anyway?

I wouldn't advise you to jump right into 3D graphics with your very first game... it's rather hard to achieve a good 3D with AGS. You can request for people to do the speech and music in this thread. To your last question -  well, there are loads and loads of plugins available for AGS that add some functionality. While it's not really needed, it can be extremly helpful to add some of the plugins; you can find the forum for plugins here.

Also, welcome to the forums and good luck with your game!  :)

Would you mind uploading a non-jpg version of your screenshots? JPG compression does horrible, horrible things to your images - how about .PNG instead?

Otherwise, I quite like the screenshots, especially the first one. Well done!  :)

Anyway, to save Ashen some work:

It's also mentioned in the BFAQ and the manual.
#1096
Try the player.ChangeRoom command, probably?

General Discussion / Re: FireStorm site

Reminds me a bit of the crappy website I used to have (and which, I fear, still is out there)... but it could get somewhere with a bit of work.

Not on the first few pages for the german google, as it seems. But Wikipedia is the second result, and it lists the real AGS (I think we can all agree on that definition  ;)), so...
