Well, then I wish you good luck. And if I may give you some advice... redraw the rooms (MS Paint "Line" Tool is your friend), do NOT save the backgrounds as .gif (does horrible things to the color), re-import the unlucky cup sprite (transparency messed up), fix the messages and... tell me how to continue after the digging puzzle, I'm completly at a loss (and it was hard enough to get there).

Nope. I had that problem too with my - deceased - BBIC project. 30 Controls is not *nearly* enough for a stats screen.

I already explained that... there simply is no point. That's it. But did you know Google is thinking about anonymising the data they stored about you after something like 18 to 24 months? Big whoopedy freaking doo. If I'm trying to make a point, it's highly likely to be "I don't like Google.".

Critics' Lounge / Turrets

I'm going to need two kinds of security turrets for my MAGS game - "Shock" and "Gun" turrets, both with a fire animation. This is what I have done:

Gun Turret


Shock Turret


The shock looks fine to me, but the Gun Turret animation seems a little... weird to me. Any suggestions on how to improve it?

Then you'll need stuff like a 'health' property for you, your character, etc. If you want to use guns, you'll need an ammuntion property or at least int, if you want to use melee weapons (which I'd recommend for a beginner because it means less scripting), you'll need to "check proximity" and, of course, you'll need to have the enemies attacking (with melee weapons: You'll need another proximity check), you'll need damage properties for the enemies and, if you are planning to use multiple weapons for the player, damage properties for each usable weapon etc. etc. Have some scripting fun!

/EDIT: Indeed much fun. If you're not so experienced yet, this will take MUCH time so you should probably finish the rest of the game first and include enemies later... or you get someone who has both the "I can help with AGS tutoring" and "I can help with scripting" icons under his avatar and ask him for help. Kindly.
