I know that sounds strange, but I really, really forgot to mention it. I've learned an important lesson, though - I'll never ever post anything in the Critics Lounge again  Just kidding.

...or you just change the file once and block the IP of that site out. Unless they're really eager to get your game, that should stop them (assuming they're a bit lazy, that is).

Somebody should try the text file thing. If you see your game appearing there, replace the original download file with the text file and upload your game under another name. Insert, uh, something like an e-mail address freshly registered for that purpose in the file and see if any mails come rushing in.

/EDIT: Oh, and by the way, look at the 'parent site' www.mosw.com. Those two are associated, and I think if we just threatened to come with lawyers... with services like that...

There is a simple way to find out: Remove/Rename the file and get somebody who was dumb enough to buy access on that server to try and download it. 404 Error = They steal your bandwith.

Or, if you *own* your hosting server, you could go checking the logs and see if that site's IP accesses you.

Oh, and I didn't seriously want you to hack the server... but as I'm currently working on a hacking game, that was the first thing which came to my mind

/EDIT, 5 minutes later: Okay, finished already. I liked it, but in my impression it was faaaaaar to short and faaaaaaar too easy. And I'd have been nice to get some visual feedback on playing DOOOOMED 10000 and the finished website. The 7th-day-puzzle didn't seem too logic on me, but - I enjoyed the game, and that's what counts. Nice, Dan, and hope a probably following sequel will be longer and way harder.

Let's hope the ERRR  won't get their opinions through like recently (U.S.A. P.A.T.R.I.O.T. act, "War" on drugs, "War" on terror, actually War on Americans). I like America, and I like the Americans, but I don't like the ERRR  ruled government.

And to the lumping-together thing: Saying all germans were Nazis would be lumping together. Saying all americans were ERRR would be lumping together. Referring to a group as "non-americans" is like saying "non-europeans" or "germans" or "french" or... you get my point. It's not lumping together; it's more clearifying what group of people he's referring to - the people who aren't living in / from America.

I'm not 100% sure exactly what you meant by that ... but I'm sick and tired of the rest of the world lumping all Americans under the same umbrella.  Just because our President is destroying our country and our mass media exploits that fact doesn't make us all war-mongering capitilist pigs, I assure you.

No, in reality, Americans aren't that bad. I've got some friends who were in Texas last year, on a student exchange, and only one of them ended up living in the same house as a sort-of-redneck family! In general, americans are all right. Russia is doing much worse things these days, especially Gazprom. But nobody pays as much attention because Russia doesn't claim they'd be the most democratic country ever.

America does claim that, and your citizens are really, really patriotic. Good thing. But on the other hand, the "most democratic country ever"...

I tried that, too. Didn't work. There *is* a way around it, but I'd really like this to be a parser-intern function.

Anyword does not match nothing, stupid. So no
