The frequency domain killed me and my family!   >:(

Well, he's right. PixelPerfect just dug up a months-old thread to post something almost completly unrelated.

Plus, awesome as the concept may be, I seriously doubt we're going to see a "world currency" anytime soon. Ah, well. At least they accept Euros and/or Dolllars in most places.

"That's a good idea, but... maybe later."
"I can't do that now."
"That would probably work, but I don't feel like doing it."

You'd better have a damn good reason, main character...

Well, you can contact him (he goes by the nickname of "Pumaman" hereabouts), but paying? Not at all, I'm afraid. The program is freeware, and Chris doesn't accept donations.

You could probably use a hex editor to fool around the executable, but as Gilbot said, that's not encouraged (and sort of a dickmove).

I wouldn't say that. Ultimately, philosophy is all about coming up with new ideas (or improving old ones), and debating can help with that.

Anyway... I could spy on the resident philosophers at uni, maybe they mention a URL... :P

/EDIT: One and's enough, even at 11:35 PM.

... uh huh. Well, you seem to have made some progress... probably... I'm afraid that trailer isn't exactly informational or exciting, however... also, it might be a shrewd move to, you know, let people actually know something about it outside of the basic premise of "Hawt XXX Darkskinned Roomie on Movie Production Industry Pr0n"...  :P :=

Oh, and sorry to hear about your legal trouble. Here's to hoping it works out well for you in the end.

As you said, consulting a tutorial might be a smart move. Luckily, there's one right in the manual.

Also, welcome to the forums!

That is, indeed, strange... I don't have so much as a suspicion, but some more information can't hurt. Does that happen regardless of whether there are any overlays or somesuch on the screen? Does it still happen when you switch between normal/windowed/Direct3D/Direct Draw? Why do I ask so many questions? Does it happen on every computer, or just yours? What is John Galt? And what do the goggles do?

Before you do anything (anything) else, be sure to burn yourself a DVD containing all Windows updates you can get your hands on, as well as some sort of firewall, a different web browser and some antivirus software, from a PC you're fairly sure is virus-free. Connecting to the tubes with a mint OS is a lot like playing Russian Roulette with a shotgun, let alone transferring data from a PC you know is infected.

Next: That's so 2009!

Wow, that was easy.

(status as an entry is questionable, btw  :P)

I don't think you can, at least not via the built-in walk-to points, as both Hotspot.WalkToX and Hotspot.WalkToY are read-only. You could, however, rig up a script involving the hotspot's "any click" script and two integer variables.
#253
Did you set the game's color depth to 32-bit?
#254
Does this happen with every room, or really just room 0?
#255
Yeah, probably; I meant it like "France", not "Texas". Sorry if that was unclear.

However, I don't think you're right with your "correction". Neither Japan nor Germany, for example, have nuclear weapons of their own (and Japan isn't even part of a "sharing program"), and I've always been under the impression that the 2nd and 4ths largest economies in the world would wield some power in international affairs.

While a nuke-free world would be nice...

Would it?
I think horror of nuclear war is only thing that has kept us from WW3. Since 1945, there has been loads of reasons to start a new global war.

As I said, it's not really feasible, for a variety of reasons. I also think a completly violence-free world would be nice, as would a UNO with actually some pull, or a world without dictatorships or failing states. None of that is going to happen (at least not completly), but, well, one can dream...

Five-way tie, huh? That's gotta be a new record...  :P

There's no metre or flow to it at all, and block-heads is one of the most cringeworthy attempts to rhyme with sockets and rockets I've ever seen.

A dime for every time I heard this in regards to my attempts at poetry...  :=

Yeah, you may wanna try the forum search...

Also, good luck with your game, and welcome to the forums!

General Discussion / Re: Hello to old friends!

Hey there. Your more recent comics sort of feel like especially strange acid trips, but they're still about ten thousand times better than anything I could ever draw, so I should probably just shut up. Anyway... welcome back (briefly? :()!

(No idea if you actually know me. But I never let that get into my way.)
