Okay, FSi's ISP is being wacky, so he has some more time to finish the upload. Feel free to play the other entries already, though.

Okay. I was asked to jump in as host, and so I did. Since exams are draining my creativity, the theme is just

Studying. Or school in general. Or anything that can be twisted to suit that.

60 minutes from now on. (Plus 15 for testing, uploading and that shiz.) Have at thee!

8PM where I'm sitting.

YESSSS.

The coding ninja strikes again! Ha-HAA!

Anyhow, you're welcome.  ;)

Hmm. Did you really assign that script name to the object? Or did you mean object[0] instead?

If you're using the newest version of AGS, you can simply use

Code: ags

 oObject1.Visible = true;

in the dialogue script. Copy and paste it exactly like that, the space sign is rather important.

(In case you're curious... "Indented lines signify that AGS should interpret the line as a normal scripting command rather than a dialog scripting command.", quoth the manual.)

To restate my earlier point... meh. This glorified blog/chat client does, in fact, not really add functionality. It's basically stuff we've been using before, only that it clumps it together in one place. Slightly more convenience at the price of making data-mining quite a bit easier... that seems to be kinda Google's modus operandi. ;)

So, yeah, it's G-Mail 2.0. Inform me when something interesting happens.

That's Vigil from Arcanum, whenever you score a critical hit.

I'll go with the Junkie as well. He has this whole "effort" thing going for him.

Runners-up would be FSi and Babar - the former for all the loot (yaay!), the latter because it features treasure as well, and also the moon. :=

Gah. Why does this always happen when I don't have time? :P

Hidden Agenda

I love you forever.  :=

What I'd like to add are The Spirit Engine and The Spirit Engine 2. The combat systems are incredible.

I love Germany. We hardly have to deal with the Creationist bullcrap over here. It's really got to suck if you're required by law to teach alternate non-scientific "theories".

Why don't you post your best attempt so far? We'll gladly help you clean it up, but we won't draw your sprites for you.

Much better that way. :)

Even worse - the guy has raised the dead himself on occasion, effectively making him a lich. ...well, kinda.  :P
#77
Yeah, sure, why not. It was clear from the beginning that nobody would manage to convince anybody else, but I think we hit all the important points and arguments... from here on, there's not much going to happen outside of shouting at each other.

Also, we unbelievers won anyway.  :=

It's kinda similar here, although it varies wildly depending on the region. In Berlin you're pretty much expected to be non-religious, whereas Bavaria is basically Vatican II.

I was raised Protestant (and later dropped the faith).

I suppose I would count, having even gone through Confirmation and all that (which makes me feel kinda guilty... I was already starting to have doubts back then, making this look sort of intellectually dishonest). Why'd you ask?

Oh, come on. It's a secular CJ-Shrine.  :-[
