Erm.
Nice stuff, Damien, really. But, um. Is any of it actually made for a game?

I also have some Romero-related news, a little off-topic, but George Romero and Tom Savini have been involved in making a game for the Xbox, PS2, and PC called "City Of The Dead".  It's a first-person shooter, and it takes place in a city full of zombies (hence the title).  I don't know if it ties in with the movies (I'm assuming it must in some way).  I first read about it in some game magazine, I still have it at home.  Some of the weapons are a little unrealistic, like a "void-bomb" (it sucks all of the zombies within it's range into a black hole and then explodes).  Here's a link: http://ps2.gamespy.com/playstation-2/the-living-dead-george-romero-project/618416p1.html  If you want to find out more, there are more sites, just go to google and type in "Romero City of the Dead Savini"...etc.

Well, if you people have to ignore my posts so blatantly...

Awesome.
I don't know if they're going to show it here or what, I'll probably pirate it before seeing it in the cinema anyway. :P

In other Romero news, there's this.

Edit:
Slightly unrelated, BUT.
For those zombie fans who happen to like comics, get this.
It's quite awesome, up to issue #7 or so, though.
Then the original artist left and the story started going downhill a bit.
But this volume rocks. Very much so.

The fabric strings are too thick.
There's not enough contrast between values, and some of the shadow placement just doesn't make sense.
It's also still quite angular...
Hope this helps in any way.

My friend has a T-shirt of Calvin smoking a huge joint.
Somehow I doubt it's licensed merchandise.

Depends on what you mean by 'sequel'.
There were many, many games in the Kunio series.
This, for example.

Ah-ha, but Earthworm Jim was out for the Genesis, too!

I had a Sega Genesis when I was little.
I kept wishing I could trade it for a SNES.

I'd just think of it as an attempt to make more people interested in going to Mittens. ;)

QuoteThe fact that we can't even delete our own posts is a choice or a forum construction thing?

On each post I see "reply with quote - modify - remove ..."

Don't you have the "Remove" option, on your own posts only??

You, sir, are a moderator.

I prefer the second idea to the first one, if only because it is more practical.
The first one is just like when you're installing new software, and the EULA part asks if you agree or not.
C'mon, how many of you actually read it instead of just saying 'get on with it!' and checking 'I agree' without reading? :P

The first idea will just be the same, people not reading the rules but saying they did so they can post.

... Now it appears I might be able to go.
Can you put me down as a 'maybe'? :D

Something like this, maybe? ;)

...what? I'm not comfortable with saying that one.

The C-word is generally considered to be the most offensive word in the English language...

According to the Wikipedia article on Sam & Max Hit the Road, "LucasArts' license with Steve Purcell expired in May 2005."
