Emo originated in the 80's, however, the 'emo punk blargh' part of the auction is there because it's considered hip for people who are into that kind of stuff to wear vintage clothing.
CASE SOLVED.

This "kid" is, apparently, 27 years old.

General Discussion / Andy? Is that you?
Sat 21/05/2005 15:31:41
While doing my casual lurking about in another forum, I came across this video:
http://www.trashfun.de/out.php?id=525

I immediately thought, "hmm... this kid looks familiar."
A few seconds later, the words "Andy" and "P3n15h" came to mind.
After some research, I found that this kid is apparently more famous than just being "Andy Penis", and actually getting his own TV show soon.
DG's child is growing so fast.  :'(

I apologize if this is rather well-known, just thought some people might be interested.

and the PS3... Well... It looks like a printer.

Am I the only one who thinks printers look damn sexy?

In all honesty, getting worked up over the console designs is just ridiculous.  I just realized.  It's like rooting for Hulk Hogan or Macho Man because one is more intelligent than the other.

It all comes down to the games- I could never buy a console at launch, but I am willing to bet the PS3 will make the games most appealing to me in the end.

I didn't say "this console is better than that console because this-and-this looks better", or something.
I was only commenting on the design, what's wrong with commenting about that? :P

Edit: Ack. Didn't see Kinonko's post.

AGS Games in Production / Re: Hero Theorem
Fri 20/05/2005 00:12:31
I do believe that even after a month it is still perfectly reasonable to bump a game-in-production thread.
This is game making, not cookie baking. It takes time, and I seriously can't see what's wrong with digging up a month-old thread of a game that is probably still in production.

As for the rules, they say 'do not dig up old threads'. That is quite subjective, no?
Perhaps if you clarified that a bit, people would know what's bump-able and what's not.

Just my two cents.

The Revolution looks best, IMO.
The 360 comes a close second, and the PS3... Well... It looks like a printer.

I also find the contrast between the PS3 and the XBOX 360 a bit strange.
PS3 is convex, XBOX 360 is concave...

I'm also rather excited about the Revolution. I'm a bit amused by the fact that what makes me so excited about it is the ability to play OLD games on it, though.

'Tis a fine picture.
As for the grass, look at the original picture.
There are 3 tones: highlight, midtone, and shadow.
In your picture, you just drew them as black lines...
Try to match these tones (or is it values? I always get confused with this) and you'll do just fine. :)

It'll play Gamecube games from the disc, the previous consoles' games will be downloadable.
... According to what I've read, anyway.

Yeah, but is that list funny? Well? Is it?

Didn't think so.  ;)

Sounds Interesting, but *cought*forum*cough*rules!!!!!*cough

Forum rules?
This springs to mind, for some reason:

Two things:
First, as always, this is awesome, and very inspiring.
Second, update that website of yours! ;)

Aaaand...
NEW SKETCH!

Portrait of a random person from another forum:

Critiqueeeee.

Edit: oh, and about the inked guy...
He was indeed not supposed to be sad, if you look at the original sketch he is actually semi-smiling.
It's just some subtle details being lost in the inked version, like the curvy-ness of the mouth, and the right eye being half-hidden by hair...
I admit I didn't really spend too much time on the inked version. :P

While "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" was quite good, nothing can beat the sheer awesome that is Pete and Pete.
#256
That is quite awesome.
The only thing I've noticed is that only her arm moves when she fires the gun.
Would be nice to see her shoulders and torso be affected from the recoil.

Oh the things Rich pulls out of his ass...

Can't wait to see some non-mockup screenies.

The thematic link can be one that is explored in storytelling, or in musical themes or even on the artwork of the album. How broad the concept is, doesn't really matter.

In that case:
Anything by Fantômas.

QuoteAlso, Mastodon were much better on their first EP 'Lifesblood' in my opinion than in any later album.

I will have to check that out, then.
I will also have to give Secret Chiefs 3 a listen now, I keep forgetting to do so.

I'm absolutely loving this, 2ma2.
I already feel connected to Alice somehow.
Now I see where the Bone comparison is coming from. ;)
Lovely.
